As a patient seeking medical care at Cleveland Clinic Lyndhurst Urgent Care. I found myself deeply dissatisfied with the level of service provided during my recent visit. The encounter with Melanie Hall, NP, fell significantly short of the standards one would expect from an extension of a reputable healthcare institution.
After enduring an unreasonably long wait time of over two hours at an office before being seen. This delay set a negative tone for the rest of the experience. Considering there were only two other people in the waiting room.
Upon finally meeting with Miss Hall, I was disappointed by her demeanor, which lacked the warmth and professionalism expected from a healthcare provider. Her approach was characterized by a noticeable lack of attentiveness and empathy towards my concerns.
Throughout the consultation, Miss Hall's examination was cursory at best, failing to address key aspects of my condition. In particular, the omission of an ear check, a fundamental component of a comprehensive assessment, was concerning.
Furthermore, upon reviewing my aftercare notes, Miss Hall appeared to overlook crucial details relevant to my health management, indicating a lapse in attention to detail.
The misinterpretation of my X-ray results read by Cassandra Parrott, DO, and with a failure to diagnose pneumonia, was particularly troubling. Fortunately, I was able to seek clarification and appropriate treatment from a relative with expertise in pulmonary care.
However, such oversight raises significant doubts about the diagnostic accuracy and competency of the medical staff.
In summary, my experience at Cleveland Clinic Lyndhurst Urgent Care was marred by significant shortcomings in professionalism, thoroughness, and diagnostic accuracy.
I trust that this feedback will be taken seriously by the institution, with a view to improving the quality of care provided to...

I went in with a swollen knee and quad muscle. They gave me an xray and found 4 bone spurs. Gave me a shot to help with pain and a referral for am ortho. Told me to take naproxen when the shot wore off. All good.
Except the shot never worked. Neither did naproxen. I'm in excruciating pain. I call back the next day and say that I have an ortho appt in 3 days. But in the meanwhile I have no pain management. I cannot put any weight whatsoever on my left leg and am using a swiffer thingy to help walk. I was literally screaming on the phone in pain. They told me I'll get a call back from a nurse. Nurse called me 4 hours later, and I had to explain the whole thing again. By now I'm crying on the phone. Nurse says she'll call me back. Calls back 15 mins later to tell me that the doctor is looking for the radiology report and has told me to take naproxen in the meantime. I tell her I am and it's not working. She says okay I'll talk to the doctor and call you back. One hour later when I still haven't heard I call them back because I'm worried that the pharmacy will close and I won't get a chance to fill it tonight. The receptionist answers tells me the person I was talking to has left for the day and that they don't prescribe pain meds. WHY DIDN'T THEY SAY THIS TO ME THE 3 TIMES I HAD SPOKEN TO THEM EARLIER?
this is deplorably bad support for patients. I have two kids and here I am heading into a second night without pain relief, zero sleep again and a weekend when they will be home. I work in health research and I understand the opiate crisis - this has nothing to do with that. This is just mismanagement, and blatant disregard for the well being of...
Read moreThis was the worst medical care I ever received in my entire LIFE !!! I was injured by falling down my apartment stairs and was severely hurt and had bruises and swelling all down my leg. I had a family meme we wish me to THIS LOCATION because I live right down the street and they were the only urgent care open at the time. When I was seen by the nurses they looked me very irritated because I came in right before they closed and was rushing to ask me questions. After I answered them they kept repeating the questions because they didn’t believe me. They talked to the WHITE MALE doctor assistant and he was so rude and disgusting towards me. He kept cutting me off every time I tried to explain my pain to him. As a BLACK WOMEN I felt very discriminated against because I can tell by his attitude that he did NOT CARE !! He refused to give me medication and told me to put some ice on it. After I told him I already had a prior back injury and just fell down a whole flight of CONCRETE STAIRS !!! I will never seek medical care at Cleveland clinic ever again ! I told my Attorney about this situation and we are investigating to get this resolved. Now I see what type “doctors”/ “nurses” CLEVELAND CLINIC hired and I’m not here for...
