Iâm incredibly disappointed with the service I received. My doctor called in a total of seven prescriptions, with one sent first and six others shortly after (within 10 minutes). My daughter drove to the pharmacy expecting to pick everything up in one trip. However, when she arrived, she was handed just one prescription. She wasnât informed that six other prescriptions were pending, nor was she told when they would be ready.
Frustrated, she purchased a COVID test out-of-pocket and came home with only two out of the seven prescriptions. I later called the pharmacy to clarify and spoke to Junior, who claimed they didnât know about the other prescriptions because they were âcalled in differently.â This doesnât make sense, as I received a text from Walgreens confirming the order for all seven prescriptions 10 min apart.
The lack of communication is shocking. How does someone at the counter hand out one prescription and not inform the customer that there are six others waiting? A simple explanation or timeline would have saved so much hassle.
To make matters worse, my daughter had to make three trips to the pharmacyâentirely unnecessary if someone had just communicated properly the first time. When I tried to escalate the issue and asked to speak with the manager, Andrew, he didnât even bother to come to the phone.
This is unacceptable and shows poor attention to detail, ineffective communication, and a lack of consideration for customersâ time. This experience needs to be addressed to prevent others from facing similar...
Read moreAwful customer service by both the cashier and the manager. Cashier made a mistake and didnât give me my change (10 dollars) when I purchased two gift cards, as soon as I realized I came back (two minutes later) and the first thing she told me when she saw me was: âWe do not do refunds on gift cards so thereâs nothing to talk about hereâ and walk away. I explained to her the problem with the change and she called her manager. Both made me feel like it was my fault because I asked her a question while paying so she got distracted. Manager told me she would have to close the register and count all the money, I agreed and waited while she did. About ten minutes later both ladies came back and indeed they were over 10 dollars and after implying that I was lying (literally said: Youâre lying), they gave me the change. Not a âsorryâ in sight, just a LOT of attitude. If you canât do basic math do not...
Read moreI've been using their photo dept for a few years now and I won't be returning after today. I guess there's a new employee working there and she made me, as the customer, feel awkward because I wouldn't purchase the cards I ordered after seeing a line run through the photo on both sides. A male employee was helping me initially and then she came over and had to study the photograph herself. She had an unnecessary attitude about the whole ordeal and told me she didn't see anything. Well that's great, but I'm the customer that has to pay for them and I didn't feel the image was printed well. I could see her talking sht as I was leaving. Wasn't even worth engaging when i have to two small children with me. I just won't use that walgreens anymore.
Please be mindful of the people you hire. The customer doesn't need your employee's "expert" opinion about a product they have to pay for with...
