My fiance appreciates doing business with the owner of the business as he has always been fair with him and very honest with all business with my fiance and he always has appreciated that fact when he is buying new tools or selling his old tools. He was really happy with their last transaction a few days ago because he was again very fair with him on the price. My fiance had shown another locally owned similar business the same item the day before rejecting a very ridiculous and very low offer from the other local business... that man tried bad business techniques to get a lot less payout than the item was originally purchased by my fiance at $300- the other guy made an offer so low on the same item that was well worth waiting for the honest owner to open the next day. The transaction was again a fair price for the depreciation value and then my fiance was happy with the business he conducted here. To be honest I was actually happy he waited for you to do his business with as he left happy and with a fair deal and not feeling as insulted as he had been doing his initial experience with the other guy. Sad to say. But glad to always be able to get fair price for...
Read moreI NEVER post reviews anywhere but I felt it was extremely important to do so because of the experience I had here. I had planned on coming to Lynnway tools & Collectibles but missed him by 6 minutes. I saw that Cash Point wasn't far so I went there! BIG MISTAKE!! Not only did the low-ball me but they were rude and miserable on top of it! I decided to wait till the next day because I saw how well people reviewed LT&C. Not only did Dave wait for me to get there but, When I arrived he came out to greet me and helped me carry everything in! He was positive, polite, and had a great attitude overall which unfortunately is not common nowadays. After bringing everything in and going through condition and adding it all up he offered me $820 and after negotiations he agreed to $900! NOW REMEMBER CASH POINT OFFERED ME $500! I will be recommending LT&C to everyone who either needs to buy or sell tools but I will be returning in the future! Thank you Dave for reminding me that it is still possible to have a GREAT customer...
Read moreThe person writing this is Nelson's wife, Bonnie.

It's been hard to deal with everything, including all of his tools, hardware, etc. When I reached out to Dave to go through the basement, I had checked him out and asked around because you never know. He not only provided the service that he did, but I have a new friend and advisor! Dave knows a lot about a lot. NOT letting go of him!
Also, he was very complimentary about Nelson and he was sincere in that. That really mattered.
Dave is sincere, knowledgeable, kind, fair ... and fun to hang out with to...
