Food was delicious and came to our table quickly. I went during an off hour, and there weren't that many people there. I sat on the opposite side of a rickety bench that another patron was on, and every time she moved, I moved too. So that was a little annoying. I went there with my two kids, each kid had a can of sprite, and they charged $5.00 per sprite. Which, as everyone knows is on the high side. I ordered a corona, which was $6.00... just to give you perspective. They came with the check, and added 18% automatically, AND charged $3.00 for credit card fee. I am a very generous tipper, but I didn't like that the server just added it onto my bill. I also wasn't a fan of having to pay a fee for using a debit card. I asked the server if they typically add gratuity, and she said, no, only for parties of 6 or more. I pointed out we were just three people, and she was very annoyed, and walked away to remove it. I won't go back because of the attitude I got and the...
Read moreDelicious food. Attentive, polite server, charming hand-carved and painted booths. Returned for dinner 8/25/24. Very LOUD music, I should have sat outside. Within 5-8 minutes the helper brought chips and salsa. It was at least 10 min more before my waitress came. That feels like 30 minutes when you're dining alone. The people across the aisle from me came in after me. They had their drinks and appetizers before my waitress showed. The food was good although I'd ordered enchiladas Verde and there wasn't any green sauce unless they'd mixed it inside? $4.99 for a large diet Coke seemed excessive. I suppose a house margarita might have been close to the same? Sunday evening late was probably not the best time choice although I think it's time to try...
Read moreI got a gift certificate for Christmas, and I love Mexican food. This place didn't disappoint! The menu is huge and they have pictures of every dish which is very helpful for trying new dishes or someone new to Mexican food. I usually get steak fajitas, comes with rice, refritos/ refried beans, *or ask for black beans, and cold plate with quac, sour cream, and Pico de gallon salsa. They do charge extra for substitutions or extra cheese or fajitas but still great food for the price. I think it was a friday, they had Kareoke and two little sisters sang a bunch of songs from Selena. They were awesome! The place is clean and has all authentic handmade Mexican furniture, chairs, booths and artwork. They have a tented outside area for the warm...
