Walgreens — Local services in Lyons Township

DO NOT USE THIS ATM!!! IT'S FRAUDULENT WITH A SKIMMER DEVICE! I went yesterday to use the atm. I withdrew $80. Went about my day and the next morning my entire bank account was stolen! I got an alert that someone used an ATM at a PNC bank in Worth, Illinois and took out my last $300 in my account!!! I got a fraud alert from my bank as well. Card got blocked now dealing with an investigation! I called and talk to a manager and reported the incident. I also posted on Facebook and 4 other people that used this ATM had THE SAME THING happen to them a day after they made a withdrawal from there. All had there accounts cleared out. That's how we all figured it out that it is this particular machine!!! I told manager to call ATM company and report it and also to put an "out of order " sign on it so it doesn't keep happening to more people!! I also filed a police report. But something told me to also call the ATM company and report it. Guess what, WALGREENS MANAGER NEVER CALLED TO REPORT!!!! SO NOW THERES DOZENS OF MORE VICTIMS OF THEFT AND THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT. MACHINE IS STILL OPERATING! THEY ARE SENDING SOMEONE OUT TOMORROW TO INVESTIGATE ONLY BECAUSE I REPORTED IT!! MANAGEMENT DROPPED THE BALL BIG TIME ON THIS. SO ARE THEY IN ON IT? POLICE WILL BE COMING TO QUESTION YOU ALL AND I WILL BE REPORTING THIS TO CORPORATE!!!!! NOW TONS OF OTHER PEOPLE GOT SCAMMED BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT! THE FACT THAT THEY KNEW AND I TOLD THEM IT WAS MULTIPLE PEOPLE THAT USED IT AND HAD FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY AFTER.....AND THEY STILL DIDN'T CALL OR SHUT DOWN THE MACHINE OR MAKE A SIGN IS ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING AND...

Had a horrible experience in the pharmacy today. My mom was trying to pick up a refill for a medication that another Walgreens had shorted her. The original store was out of stock so they sent the refill to Lyons.

I guess this was not communicated properly to Lyons. They claimed it was too soon for a refill (which is true...because Walgreens shorted her pills). We asked to speak to the pharmacist. Her name is Malinka and she was extremely rude about the situation. She said she would call the other store and we could wait but she couldn't guarantee anyone would answer.

We sat in the waiting area and my mom called the other store herself. She was able to reach them and they confirmed that they sent the refill to Lyons and there shouldn't be any issues. Malinka then called us to the counter and said she called the other store but no one was answering. She flat out lied to our faces.

We said that was funny because we literally just got off the phone with them. She then said she couldn't help us as she was late for her meal break.

For context, the medication is for a life threatening condition and yet Malinka couldn't be bothered to remedy the situation because she was running late for lunch.

We left, went to the original Walgreens and was promptly and politely helped. It's a shame that the Lyons pharmacy could not act professionally. We will not be getting our prescriptions from the Lyons location any longer. Malinka should work on her professionalism and customer...

I had one of the best experiences tonight with an employee named Jocelyn at Walgreens compared to any other time i’ve been to this specific location. From the moment I walked in, she was quick to assist me in finding exactly what I was looking for. Jocelyn didn't just point me in the right direction; she took the time to walk me to the aisle and thoroughly explain the differences between the various options available for my situation. Her knowledge and clear explanations made it easy for me to make an informed decision. But Jocelyn didn't stop there. She went above and beyond by providing additional recommendations that were incredibly helpful for my specific needs. Her suggestions were spot on and showed that she genuinely cared about helping me find the best solution, which is rare to see now these days. What truly stood out was Jocelyn's warm and friendly demeanor. She has the sweetest personality and the purest heart, making the entire shopping experience pleasant and enjoyable. It's rare to encounter someone so dedicated and kind in customer service, and Jocelyn truly made a lasting impression on me.
