Jade Garden — Restaurant in Lyons Township

Been going here for years. Never again. Of the 6 items ordered, only chicken fried rice OK. General Tso chicken broccoli was crisp and good but rest of dish tasted like it was sitting around from day before. Mushy and tasteless. BBQ pork egg foo young also tasted bland and old. Sauce pasty. Fish fillet with vegetables; what vegetables? Less than one baby carrot grated in total, perhaps one green bean. Found only one thin slice of mushroom. Noodles also tasted as sitting around since yesterday. Not fresh at all. Egg rolls a get by but not as tasty as previous. Perhaps new owners or a push to save money. We did order earlier than usual so perhaps they serve yesterdays left overs first then start cooking later in day but will never know since won't be going back and I am not typically a sour...

I went to order 2 smoothies with tapioca. They didn't seem busy but rushed me to give them my order. Then Told me it would be 10 to 15 min. When I got home I saw they over charged me, the price on the menu was a lot different from what they charged me. I then realized no tapioca in my drink. I called back and put me on hold for over 5 min. When they finally answered they hung up. I called again and they told me to go back so they can give me the tapioca in a separate container. Everything arrived cold.The orange chicken was dough balls with the top knuckle parts from a leg or a thigh wrapped in the dough ball. In one of them there were chips of bone with marrow still insie them, that's when we didn't try to eat anymore. The dish was bitter and greasy. The rice, egg rolls and fried rice were all cold. The only redeeming factor was the potstickers hada good flavor which probably would have been still better if they were not icy cold....
