Extra Space Storage — Local services in Madeira Beach

Update 7/2023: we enlarged our unit to a 10' x 10' last year, to store items from my father's apartment after he sadly passed away. Everything has gone great since then; the unit is secure, dry and air conditioned and everything has remained in good shape. We've only had to access it occasionally but it's always been super easy and convenient. Today, 7/14/23, I spoke with William at the office, regarding pre-paying our rental fee through year-end 2023, at which time my family will have gone through all the furniture and other items in storage and split them up or disposed of them. William was super-helpful and courteous and I really appreciated his information and assistance. Thanks William!

Just rented our 5’x10’ unit here at the Mad Beach location to store some extra stuff we’ve had in our bonus room for way too long. Store Manager Sandra was great, super helpful and efficient and fun. We lost our condo to Hurricane Helene and needed a storage unit for the items that were saved. Everyone recommended Extra Space Storage on Duhme Road in Madeira Beach/St. Petersburg. I registered for our unit online which was super easy to do. I was able to pick the size and location of our specific unit. I never rented a storage unit before and, because we live in Pennsylvania and could not be present at move in, I was really nervous about how our moving company would get the items into the unit. I phoned Extra Space Storage and spoke to the most helpful person ever - George! He was so kind and patient and gave me all the details about my unit’s location and how to use the lock and also how to access the gate. My movers had no problems and even had to go back with more things. I rented a storage unit at the Madeira Beach location in Florida. Yvonne was very helpful and couldn't do enough for us she made us feel as if we had known her for such a long timeshe was very reassuring. The unit was extremely clean. The young lady that assisted me in the office couldn't have been more helpful. She explained the contract and everything that was necessary to rent the storage unit. She was very friendly and very informed. There was concern about entering the unit during a period when the blacktop was being put down. She was very reassuring about the hours that we could get into our unit. In the future if I would ever need to rent another space I would definitely go there...
