I was really looking forward to going to legion as a guest .I was told because I forgot my membership card I would not be served very rudely by the lady behind the bar. She waited on the regulars before she even ask me if I need help. I lost my cool for that I apologize. Another server I ask if could talk to the commander she said the office was closed til Tuesday. I later found out after talking to another member the lady behind the bar has a reputation of being rude and they had the state of Florida fine the post for guest not having membership cards. So i see the point of not serving alcohol but food. after talking a hundred dollars worth Uber rides I will probably not be back. If you do go to this legion make sure have your membership card. I was told the Commander is a very stand up guy so are must military people and Veterans,. My husband and I have been members of this American Legion for many years. Sadly I lost my husband in July of 2021, so I called and spoke to Ed Lewis, the Second Vice Commander of Post 273. He was my first inquiry on finding a venue that could meet my husbands wishes that he had left for his “celebration of life.”

After speaking with Ed, not only did he provide the private room, but their wonderful Chef, Marshall and fantastic Bar Tender, Brenda as well.

Ed helped me plan everything and it took so much off my shoulders at this very stressful time. I can’t say enough about his willing to help, he was truly wonderful.

I would recommend this to anyone that needs a space for private gatherings. It’s amazing with not only the inside but the outside tables by the water and dock. We had an amazing sunset that night…. We went here to celebrate my wife's 69th Birthday on 10/14/2022 a family gathering 12 in our party after waiting 22 minutes for a waitress we ordered dinner for all of us at 645pm we had drinks twice waiting for our dinner to come another group of 7 people came in at 710 pm ordered there dinner got served in 20 minutes our waitress came out at 740pm and told us they shut the kitchen down we would not be getting served our dinners and said she was sorry this is plain ridiculous we have been going here for over 22 year's it seems also this year there menu has been shortend then over the past years. this needs to be attended to!!! we will not be eating here anymore we will go for the freindship drinks and great sunsets and music but food never more just poor kitchen...
