This is the fifth or sixth time I've stayed at Madeira Beach, but this is the first time I've stayed anywhere but Beachfront. But, Beachfront costs a lot more $$$, and since this was a quick last minute trip, I figured we'd save a little money and stay here. Boy, I couldn't have chosen better. I did ask for a room with a balcony, but there were none available. But, the views from the room we were given were amazing. We were able to see the boats come and go, as well as beautiful sunrises. There is plenty of food options close by, even walking distance. We had a rental car so transportation was not an issue, but there was a water taxi to get you to where you needed to go. The beach was a quick less than 5 minute drive - although we went to the far end of Madeira and parked at the public beach across from John's pass. Parking there is $2 an hour, but well worth it. The first few days we did the beach, but after we found how relaxing the pool and hot tub area were at the hotel - we didn't even bother with the beach. There were always plenty of towels available, and it was probably the best part of our vacation, simply relaxing by the pool. The rooms were clean, and somehow they knew our schedule and made up our rooms when we were either poolside, or out early for the evening. Plenty of parking, and I like how if you came in after 11 pm, you needed a room key to access the outside elevator -- if you didn't have your key you had to come inside and walk past the front desk, so an extra level of security. The cleaning staff was very friendly, and I was never awaken too early by the sound of a vacuum or slamming doors. The only thing that is a letdown, but I think is common in all Courtyards, is no free buffet breakfast. They do offer breakfast that you can pay for, but since we were so close to town, we opted to try someplace new each morning. Coffee at the Starbucks downstairs was great, and the servers were extremely nice. Overall I would not hesitate to book there again if I was coming back to Madeira for...

We were are local and didn't truly go on a vacation, we had to leave the house for two days to take care of the Florida scourge -- termites. ||I went in with just the expectations of a clean place to sleep and hang our hats.  It was MORE!!  The hotel was spotless and furnishings were all newer.||We decided to treat ourselves and upgrade to a waterfront suite.  The view was great and it was Westward facing so you could have a cup of coffee on the balcony in the morning and not be sweltering.||Word must have gotten out about us to the staff because two or three employees mentioned they knew we were there due to an infestation and offered kind words while welcoming us.  Talk about feeling special!!|As people have mentioned this is walking distance from Publix -- Florida's most popular grocery. We were able to keep our waters and coffee cream cold in the nice mini fridge.  The bathroom accessories -- make up mirror and hair dryer were both great, as well.  ||Last January we actually stayed at a "higher end" Marriott close to Disney and the suite at this Courtyard was not only BETTER than the boujey hotel, it was cleaner and just an all around awesome stay. ||Everyone we encountered at the hotel were welcoming and helpful.  We had an unexpected nice dinner out when Shelli at the front desk told us about a happy hour special at Salt Rock Grill just a short drive away.  It was LESS than we usually pay at Outback and that was with an adult beverage for each of us. (Mind you, that is ONLY Happy Hour pricing which ends at 5:30) ||The TV was a tad on the small side, BUT you can get HBO, Netflix and other premium channels.  It was very easy to figure out the remote as well. ||This hotel and its top tier staff get an A+++ from this traveler. ||PS.  One other thing -- parking is shaded which is a BIG plus in...

The policy on Bonboy stated that i could cxl my reservation 2 days in advance with no charge. I cxled on Mon my Sat reservation. The next Monday I saw The hotels charge on My Credit card. When I went back to Bonvoy- all history of cancelations for the past year was GONE.I called the Hotel and was told We " WERE A NO CALL NO SHOW" ??? I spoke to a GM assistant- she kept repeating to me to next time write down the CXl number, and she will pass it on to GM. I let her know that I'll be looking for the cxl email and will call back ...I FOUND IT...I CALLED BACK, was sent to voice-mail, I ASKED TO GIVE ME a CALL BACK. She NEVER called back.WE had to pursue the return.Every single call was initiated by us- the party that had no faults The biggest wow moment is : how are you going to ask for a cxl number from me and make suggestions on what I should be doing when the hotel has no records of me cxl the reservation, and the app mysteriously erases your information by itself? Every wrong Was on Marriott. The GM assistant basically stated to my husband that the money was returned and that's all they are going to do.They done absolutely nothing to make it up to us.So if I didn't call - Marriott would have just Took the money from us( my CC) for no errors on Our part, but all on theirs. Under any Legal terms it's stealing from the customer.. The worst part - it's our 2nd time but different property where we were charged and didn't...

DO NOT STAY HERE!! What a disappointment!! Everything in this hotel was done on the cheap and it shows! It feels and smells like a Budget Motel. The climate control in the room is terrible and all the rooms have the same climate control. It is a low-end Korean brand. The system does NOT tell you the current temperature. When you set it to a desired temp it always jumps to a different temp and you have to reset it two or three times. I called the front desk thinking my room thermostat was broken. They came up and condescendingly used a temperature “gun” to measure the temp and told me what temperature it was. They said that the guest can not see this information but that they can see it at the desk. So apparently you are expected to call every-time you want to know the temperature in your room. As you can see, when I attempt to set the temperature using auto setting it does not have smart settings to do. These settings were done within 2 minutes of one another. I have never experienced anything like this at a Marriott. I am now noticing many other low quality choices made and I’m seriously disappointed as a BonVoy Elite member. Look at the 1970’s style hairdryer! The cheap fluorescent lights in the bathroom hum because they are cheap. The person who was in charge of designing this Marriott needs to be FIRED! THIS IS THE WORST MARRIOTT I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. It is way over priced and built like a Budget motel.

From the moment we stepped into the Courtyard Marriott in Madeira Beach, we knew we were in for something special. The hotel itself is immaculate and beautifully maintained with a relaxed coastal vibe, stunning views of the marina, and all the modern comforts you’d expect from a top-tier Marriott property. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional service. Bryan at the front desk deserves a standing ovation. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable, he went above and beyond to make sure we felt right at home. Bryan was the epitome of hospitality done right Carrie, the General Manager, clearly leads by example. Her commitment to excellence shines through in every detail. Everything from the spotless common areas to the way her staff handles even the smallest request with care. I can tell she has genuine dedication to guest satisfaction. The pool area was pristine, the views of the Intracoastal Waterway were breathtaking, and the location couldn’t be better. Very close to the beach, great restaurants, and charming local attractions. We left feeling relaxed, well taken care of, and already planning our return trip. If you're headed to Madeira Beach, do yourself a favor and book a stay at this Courtyard Marriott. With Bryan and Carrie at the helm, you're guaranteed an experience that goes far beyond the ordinary. HIGHLY recommend!

This place is a total hidden gem! If you’re not familiar with the magic of the intercostal canal system in this area, this hotel is a great intro. Easy access to the best of St. Pete but you don’t feel like you’re trapped in the mess of tourist traffic. Ours was a full western view balcony, facing the direction of the gulf and overlooking the canal, pool, and fabulous courtyard. A little confusing to find the front desk the first time arriving but it’s easy to get your bearings after you do. Staff was fabulous, especially Brian (a solution based thinker who really pays attention to details) and the bar/restaurant food is exceptionally good. Indoor and outdoor seating, right off the lobby which is super guest friendly with everything you need all in one area. Great use of common area space. Courtyard and pool area is amazing. Rooms are nice, clean, comfortable and the property location is perfect. Short walk to restaurants, grocery, liquor store, and a longer walk across the causeway to Madeira Beach. The place is surrounded by docks full of lovely boats for people watching and it’s cool to see the bridge open up to let larger vessels through. Close to everything but just far enough away to not feel suffocated by it all. Highly recommend this hotel!
