I bought a Penn 50 electric and rod from Zac. I also, needed a butt for my rod. There did not have any in stock so I got a raincheck. I went on a fishing trip and used my reel and rod. It was a very enjoyable equipment. When I came back, Zac called me to inform me that the articulated butts were in. Later on that day I stopped by and met with Zac. We discovered that the rod Zac previously sold me could not be modify to accept the articulated butt. The owner Tad was out of town. A few days later, Tad came back and was made aware of the issue. Without hesitation he instructed Zac to replace the rod I had previously purchased with a new one, which can be modify. It was quick and simple and painless. This is a great company to do business with. If you need fishing supply, I highly recommend you get it from Fisherman's Ideal Supply House. Well unfortunately their service has gone a little downhill, and their prices have gone uphill. I won’t find out the specific circumstance, but someone literally was trying to BS a little too much. Are usually like to support local businesses, but I’m going to do more online purchases through Amazon, Ebay, Walmart and other online retailers. Then I’d probably go to vets tackle or dog fish before I step my foot in this place for at least the next six months. then I’ll check it out again, sure prices have gone up… But I picked up a few items off the shelf and did a quick search online for prices and they were definitely much higher. A little higher is OK, that’s why I don’t mind supporting local businesses. But some of their stuff is just priced way out. So I removed one star for each of the three critical issues. I am always willing to update my review in the future if things look better than...

I have been to FISH many times, always treated with true respect.. I find they always have what I need whether it's equipment for my vessels or the best selection in fishing gear one could ever need.. The staff very experienced and most cordial.! They always tend to me as family. In reality I feel they are. If they don't by chance have what I need it's on order and in hand the following day. Great people and a super great buisness. In my work they meet all my needs. I am a semi retired Captain with over 45 years at sea, take my word, they are the best around and I will continue to do my buisness with them to my days end..
