Fleetway Market — Local services in Madison

I was just in the Fleetway #108 on Main St. and Hwy 51 in Madison @ 2PM on 12/6/22. There were 3 ladies working behind the counter. Two were already helping a gentleman with an issue they were having with a cash register (not a problem at least I could see they were helping someone). The remaining worker was counting coins into the remaining register. I stood there for what seemed like 10 minutes and she never looked up or acknowledged me or anything. She could have stopped what she was in the middle of for a second to say "I'll be with you in a minute, I just have to finish this first"; that would have been perfectly okay with me. I would not have cared about having to wait. But to just totally ignore me as if she could not see me standing 3 feet in front of her. I will never stop at this place of business again and suggest no one else does either. Drive a little farther up to the Chevron or the Exxon...

One bad apple can spoil the bunch. I stop in for coffee often before work and have been met with nothing but kind and respectful people working here until today. I decided to stop in today 3-16-25 about 5 pm and a middle aged medium/heavy build African American man was working behind the register. (He said his name is Carlos)I asked if all the different sizes were part of the rewards member priced drinks and he said yes any size. As I was filling my cup he started waving his hand at me and pointing with an attitude saying the slushies aren’t included just being particularly rude. Had he approached me differently and not been so aggressive about it I would have understood that it was a miscommunication(on his end) and probably just got the slushy anyways. Great Gas station. A lot of pumps available on both sides of the store. The interior is clean and has a good selection of snacks, food, drinks and automotive focused goods. The best part of this gas station is the ethanol free premium gas available at the pumps which I haven’t found anywhere...
