Terrible service. I’ll never know what the food was like because I didn’t stay long at all. As soon as me and my two friends walked in we were seated for hibachi immediately. We’re not from here so obviously we’ve never been here before. First thing we need to do is look at the menu right? Of course! So we put in our drink order due to not knowing what we wanted. The waitress was somewhat fine with that but I could tell she was irritated. I ignored it that time. So she quickly brought our drinks back within maybe 1-2 minutes and she asks us again if we’re ready to order. No we’re still deciding but we have an idea what sushi we want. (Mind you she just seated two couples and they also haven’t ordered anything other than drinks) My friend said he wanted a roll that had shrimp, crab, some other stuff and tuna but he’s allergic so he wanted it without tuna. She instantly got pissed at him and yelled you can’t it’s not the same. I’ll never understand why but she never explained other than no you can’t it’s not the same forget the sushi just order hibachi now. Are you getting hibachi? Order the hibachi now what do you want? He wanted the noodles with shrimp which is what we always get at our hibachi place back home. She says you can only do steamed rice and fried rice okay that’s fine but again she has this major attitude because now he doesn’t know what he wants again because he hates getting fried rice. So instead he really just wants to order sushi instead and my other friend and I were going to order hibachi. She was pissed when he said he just wanted sushi so I stopped her before she could continue saying just give us the bill for the drinks because I’d hate for you to say we skipped a $5 bill. I’ve never in my life had bad customer service ESPECIALLY not ever this bad. This is literally the worst restaurant I’ve been to in my entire life and I’m 27 (and I’ve traveled a lot). Hibachi is my friends favorite thing especially since it was his birthday. I didn’t even get to tell her it was his birthday to have them sing or something. Also the manager wasn’t any better. She said I’ll tell her slow down she gets like that when we’re busy? So that makes it okay? Clearly no one in this establishment has good customer service at all. In my opinion I don’t even care how the food was because nothing can be good enough to deal with treatment like that. Also if they were so busy why were we seated immediately? Anyways never again. DO NOT recommend. BUT I do HIGHLY recommend the seafood place next door to them. AMAZINGGGGG customer service and the food was even better. They were visibly busy and packed and had great customer service. Our waiter was so sweet and funny. The food was great and hot. I’ll definitely go there whenever we’re back in town. Read moreThe worst hibachi I have ever eaten. The soup was a milky something. We asked what is was and the server said "fish soup". It was not clear onion soup or miso standard in most Hibachi restaurants. The salad consisted of iceberg lettuce and one shred of carrot. Salad dressing was a mayo/ginger dressing and overpowering. The quality of the filet was terrible. I could not even chew the meat. I order filet mignon which should have been tender -it was the most expensive steak on the menu. The fried rice did not have any vegetables in it and very bland. Normally there is onions, carrots, peas, or edamame and garlic for some flavor. The vegetables were steamed NOT grilled by using a stainless steel bowl covering them on the grill until they were just a lump of mush. After the shrimp was served to everyone we asked why we didn't get our shrimp order and the cook had to go to the kitchen and get more to cook for us while the chicken continued to burn. The worse hibachi we have ever experienced! There was not show with the onion volcano or any theatrics but we were fine with that. My review: Avoid this place. Really should get no stars.
