El Ranchito — Restaurant in Madison

The food here is good. I gave this place one star because the young girl, the one with shoulder length black hair and looks like she is in college, at the register is extremely rude and racist. She needs to be fired and shouldn’t work in customer service. When I arrived home I noticed my order was incorrect so I called to let the restaurant know. She said I could come pick it up and it would be ready within a few minutes. I took the incorrect order back and I told her I was picking up the correct order and that they also forgot my extra side of rice and beans. She gets agitated with me and looks at me extremely rude as she hands me the first bag. A caucasian lady walks up and asks for a bag for her carry out box and the cashier’s whole demeanor changed. She went from dry, rude, and agitated to perky, happy, and friendly as she quickly gave the lady a bag. She then walked to the back to get the rest of my order that the restaurant got wrong. When she gets back to the counter she is dry and agitated. She hands me the order rudely. I state, “Thank you.” And under her breath she hums faintly “umhm.” As if I did something to her and caused her some sort of inconvenience because I drove all the way from home back to the restaurant to pick up my correct order. If this is a place of customer service she should be friendly and apologetic for getting the order wrong because I had to drive back up to the restaurant to get the correct order. Ok, my husband and I have been eating here EVERY weekend for the past three years and the food is always amazing, but the service is a mess. Our food come out incorrect EVERY time?! But it funny because we order the same thing every time we come. And it's not a complicated order. One bean burrito with red sauce and cheese sauce and what comes out is a burrito with red sauce only or cheese sauce only. How can they get it wrong every single time? We want both red sauce and cheese sauce on the bean burrito. We even repeat it back several times. It's not rocket science. I order my entree with no rice, only beans, and guess what happens... They serve my food with rice and beans. Seriously we end up laughing everytime the food is served because it's like they didn't listen to us or didn't write it down or entered it incorrectly in the computer or didn't tell the person cooking, or didn't catch the mistake before sending the food out. There are several opportunities for a server to avoid this sort of mistake. Seriously, fix these dumb issues and tighten up your serving staff. We are loyal customers and love the food but hate being served the incorrect food every...

I'm currently here now and the waiter was rude. First he took everyone order for drinks didn't ask no one for id until he got to me which I didn't have. Then when he came back for food orders he took everyone order and just grabbed my menu didn't ask if I wanted anything at all then when it was stated to him why he didn't take my order his response was she didn't say anything I don't know his name, but this the 3rd time I done came here and he has ended up being the waiter to our table and he does the same thing everytime and when I ask to speak to the manager he doesn't want to go get them he is the heavy set male waiter and I feel he either has an issue with me or using me as an outcast because by law your suppose to id everyone @ the table I'm 28 and it's only him the 3 times that I come that I always have a problem with I'm disappointed with...
