Only self-checkouts open for a few hours at the end of the evening. Brought to attention of management and multiple staff in past about how this is problematic and nothing has changed. The store has also added a lot of high-end merchandise including makeup and home appliances with no one available to demo it or ask questions, but it’s the same premium price as at a high-end store. Some of the basic canned fruits are priced higher than the local premium grocery store, and yet there is less human help. Cannot get vaccines at pharmacy here either as not contracted with a major insurance carrier.
12/15/23 Update: All of the Scandanavian-themed holiday decor is sold out. (Chip Gaines Hearth and Hand) Most of it was not a decent quality for the price. The potholders and dish towels were nice but the patterns too plain - striped and plaid. Some of it sold out pretty early, and two weeks before Christmas which is when many shop, sold out. There were multiple Hispanic songs playing in the store. The beat was so fast the words were unintelligible. But then there is no Hispanic holiday merchandise. No real selection of adult holiday gift items. Continue to not be able to find quality ladies garments here or appropriate office products for a fair price. Could not find holiday mailers in the mailer aisle. Wall hook racks for hanging coats very plain and generic. Most of the home decor, dishes, and home storage very plain and generic, and overpriced. Literally the only items I could find were in the pharmacy section. The of oral care products was poor. Oddball specialty toothpastes, and not the standard kinds. Very limited selection of dental floss and gum treatment items. If allergic to one brand, there is not an alternate choice. Also included some ingredients that are hard to determine what is actually in the product. On the upside… if you’re looking for a selection of basketballs, there are about 30 choices - many specialty colors and sizes. Only one human-run cashier station open. The rest self-checkout. Will be monitored by video which makes me feel like being treated...
Read moreHorrible customer service in history of man. Service desk employee rude on phone. Order says it is ready in 2 hours. Service rep tells me order is in transit from back of store to fro t. Wait for order 30+ minutes I. Addition to the two hour lead time upon submitting order. Kathleen informs me no way to speed up process, and continues to be rude and speak over me. Never once listening to what I have to say or ask. At no time do I receive an apology for the delay nor did anyone LISTEN to their customer. I ask fir managers name and REFUSED to give me even first name. Gave me a corporate number. More times goes by as she goes to look into it and wouldn’t you know Target cancels my order. When I call yo speak to a manager I ask fir anyone that is NOT Kathleen. Again she refuses. At this point I have no choice but to believe I had been target for my appearance or my perhaps my obviously protected class status. Target spews lines about diversity and inclusion but has yet to walk the walk and has many obstacles to overcome before I or anyone I know...
Read moreThis store is awful! Gigantic, yet the aisles are so close together no more than one shopping cart can fit when there could be plenty of room for two carts to be next to each other and still fit one person in between them. They also didn’t seem to think people would like to have space when opening the fridge doors, once you do that you stop everyone from going anywhere and unfortunately people like to walk around as if it was a museum, so you are constantly stuck between a lot of people trying to go in different directions but not being able to move anywhere. Again, the store is huge so this is very unnecessary and frustrating. So many shelves in every department are incredibly lacking on stock, I thought maybe it was because of the weekend or maybe I went to the store right before delivery day. Nope. The shelves are different but many levels of empty regardless of it being a Monday, Thursday or Saturday. The East side and Hilldale stores don’t have...
