This little shoppe is a wonderland for unexpected, eccentric, truly unique gifts for yourself and others. There is a huge collection of enamel pins and well-made (hilarious) embroidered fabric patches, as well as taxidermy novelties, a very cool selection of tiny knife jewelry (I have a necklace with one on it that I haven't taken off since I got it from there earlier this month), some lovely old glass pieces, and a selection of tea and kitchen utensils that is truly impressive. Definitely check out the display of fictional room key tags--I've never seen those any place else! The owner is a gem of a lady with extensive knowledge of the area, great trivia tidbits about all the items she sells, and a wonderful sense of humour. I walked into this store with my boyfriend about a week ago and I saw the sign said closed at 4 so when we walked in I checked the time. It was 4:16 and so we felt bad because we walked in after closing time and I kindly asked the lady at the register she had glasses and looked older but anyway I asked if they were closed. She didn’t even respond and just looked at me so I asked her again, she responded in the rudest tone and said “why would we be closed” after that, we didn’t even hesitate and just left and made sure we told her how awesome her attitude was. It is not hard having a good attitude, and why would you work in customer service if you are just going to be rude🤨 Would not return here, especially if...

I'm really sad to say that I had a bad experience. It is a really cute place with quality things. But when visting with my family, and finding some pieces I was excited about, I gathered an armful but hadn't decided on all of them. I handed them off to my brother to hold, as I was (in all honesty) checking how much I could budget and spend there, as a way to determine how many pieces I was able to buy. Without a word, the clerk grabbed them out of his hands and bagged them. This made me inclined to buy them which I'm sure was the point. Incredibly rude and forceful. Horrible customer service....
