Bruzzese's Italian Gourmet Salumeria and Catering — Local services in Manalapan Township

This was our favorite place- what happened to the service? I understand that Sal is no longer there, seems that customer service went out the door. I placed a phone order 8:45 this morning and was told pick up time for my sandwiches was 20-30 min. I arrived at 9:10 and was told that one of the two heroes were ready. I then asked if the other could be done as I had to open my business by 9:30. The young girl said sure. The young man that was behind the counter making a catering tray and chatting casually with another customer(who was being assisted by a different young man) There was no sign of him completing my order. after 5 min I asked how much longer , as i need to go to work- The sandwich maker then looked up and was annoyed as he flippantly responded "you know-you have to wait!' That was not the response that I expected-nor the correct attitude to take. So i left, and...

We made our very first visit to this beautiful Italian market today. Our very first impression was made on us by Gabrielle who answered our call ahead & could not have been ANY SWEETER! Our next impression was made by Dennis, Dante, Anthony, Peter & Anthony's colleague whos name we didn't get but was also so nice. We came in like strangers to this establishment & left feeling like family. NOW the food the prepared foods SO PERFECTLY & beautifully displayed & delicious. LOVE LOVE LOVE! The people, the food, and the service. Everyone here is awesome any day of the week. Don't get me started on the prepared food... what I bring back to Brooklyn on a daily basis, never mind the weekends could probably pay somebody's mortgage. Don't skip the meat bread (aka lardbread) and all the antipasti, cheeses and burrata to make your own Sangwich Superiore or have them make you one of their insane specials to go (That Disgraziata!!!) ...
