My fiance and I went on a random road trip and ended all the way up here, way past freehold, manalapan, Matawan, etc. It was so pretty up in this area honestly. Some historic houses and the area and drive and the hills, and churches and little lakes. It's a beautiful area. It's in a small plaza with not so much to offer but the stores they do have, are really nice and meaningful ones.
This bakery may seem small but it is FILLED to the ceiling and every free space with so many goodies and treats to choose from honestly. The cakes and cupcakes and the full array of assortments of cookies just has you speechless honestly and the older woman who was working there who must be the owner was honestly just the nicest and sweetest ladies I've ever met. Very patient, kind, helpful. Full of smiles too. You feel welcome at least and I think that is so important these days. The cookies. Omg. Was in cookie heaven. Just delish and fresh too. My fiance picked out two little cupcakes to make me smile and they were adorable. Very light and sweet taste too. Different. But very nice. Overall I had a very good experience here and I would def recommend giving them a try if your ever in the area.
