IAM-RC Racing & Hobby Shop — Local services in Manassas

So I found this hobby shop while looking for some Dubro hardware for a boat project I'm working on...long story short they didn't have what I was originally looking for...but what I did find is a place full of knowledge and passion for RC cars and trucks...the staff is incredible...and Bob...well he is AWESOME...I'm a past on road touring rc guy that has been out of the hobby for a while...and Bob was kind enough to bring me back up to speed on all the new technology and vehicles that are available...the store is packed full of hobby grade vehicles and enty of parts are available for in case of a booboo.... This is a very family friendly site that also has a outdoor race track on fridays....and they also do Drag racing...I was able to stop by and watch a few rounds of racing on a Friday evening and was amazed at the way thing were run....kids of all sizes and ages were enjoying themselves and having a great time...I think it may be time for a new onroad car...and this is the place I will be doing...

Like many others have stated in other reviews “Great Customer Services a must!” Being new to the hobby for only about four months now it was really great to experience something different when I went to {I AM RC} . Rohan was knowledgeable, friendly and personable! His shop at the time was only open for two weeks so he did have all the parts I needed but he immediately researched what I was looking forward an began to track down all the parts I was looking for. He was honest about the time frame and availability of the items needed. He fixed the cars that he had parts for right in front of me. It honestly was the best handling that particular RC has ever done since I owned it.. I did wreck it again letter but that’s another story. Lol In closing I would 100% recommend this RC shop for anyone who’s looking for great customer service/support and knowledge whether a beginner, intermediate or experienced you can get what you need at I AM RC...

Iam-rc has great customer service, until you need to return some thing because of the fitment issue even after they recommended the product and stated it will fit and not rub. I bought a set a tires for my car. They assured me they would fit going as far as saying a lot of people run them on the same car and don’t run. I later went to return them because they didn’t fit. I had never driven on them and they were still brand new. They stated that since the package was opened. I’m not sure how somebody would know whether the product fit or not for sure until they opened it. I trusted their expertise, which turns out to be very limited at best. I have spent a good amount of money here and I will now never spend any money at this location as the owner only cares about the income and does not care about the hobby or the customers. Glad to sell you something but when they need to make a mistake right they don’t...
