This whole week I was excited to try out Mi Rico Peru. So upon arriving I saw the drive-thru had about 6 cars in line. I notice no one was in line to make an order inside, I walk in ready to order but I took inconsideration that there were cars outside. It took 10 minutes to have the staff know I was there. Finally I had the cashier tell me “someone will be right with you I hope” so when the cashier comes back he had a nasty attitude as if he didn’t want to be there. He didn’t greet me as well. I placed my order and received no receipt and they told me it will take 10 minutes. I had ordered 2 family meals with the sides it comes with. It came out to about $42.00 and that was really a good deal. So I sit down and time goes by and I notice that all the people in the drive- thru were getting attended quickly and also I notice that there were numerous people coming in after me getting served and their meals were being given. There was this lady in which I overheard order the exact same thing meal as me. She came in about 10 minutes after me and she got her meal before I did which was pretty unfair. In total I waited about an hour and every 5 to 10 minutes they kept telling me your order will be out next. But after the 45 min mark I asked for my money back. They tried to give me a free item but I wasn’t going to wait anymore. The cashier tried giving me the incorrect amount and tried saying that he gave me a receipt in which he didn’t. I had to pull out my bank app for them to see the amount I was charged. Also one thing I did want to note was that there was this other worker I believe who was working drive thru and he looked lost. He didn’t know what he was doing and he kept asking the cashier with the nasty attitude for help. That cashier didn’t acknowledge the poor kid. He kept asking and he did ask loud enough for the cashier to hear. I felt bad for the kid cause I know what it’s like to be a new employee looking for help. If anything the cashier asked the poor clueless kid to go make him a drink while he sat in the lobby relaxing. This was a poor and unprofessional customer service. I was very understanding about it being there second day open, but I don’t believe it should’ve taken that long or I should’ve received that customer service. I really do hope this review is seen and that cashier can get a talk about his customer service. Hopefully they can get it together and I can go back in to give it...

On Sunday, November 15, I took my family to Mi Rico Peru located on Liberia Street in Manassas, VA. It was a little hard to find as the establishment looks like a McDonalds building. The service was fine, the lady that took my order was pleasant as she reconfirmed my order twice to ensure the accuracy. Inside dining was open, however, we decided on eating outside. The establishment itself is very small, and it smells like fried food. So when you leave you will be leaving with the smell of fried food. I like how it has the option of a drive through, such a great commodity for those that don’t want to exit the car. Now what everyone is waiting for......the food! I got a lomo saltado. I am a very picky eater, so I asked for no onion or cilantro. I think that if you change the contents of a plate and the location will do it, they are flexible and that is a thumbs up from me. Back to the lomo saltado, great portion, great taste, I found a little bit of oil on the bottom but that is OK with me. The rice was on point, had the perfect amount of garlic flavor. My sister got a lomo saltado sándwich and it fell apart on the seat, such a disappointment. She did eat the remaining portion quickly. She’s a big eater!!!!! We got an alfajor and it was a little dry, good taste though. I got a flan and it was hard in texture not creamy as it is supposed to. When I eat a good Peruvian meal, I like to top It off when a very cold Inca cola beverage, but they didn’t have one...... they ran out. Not good for me. I overall...
Read moreI only went there because I'm a big Lomo Saltado fan and a guy from one of my groups on Facebook recommended it. But boy, what a Joke! First off costumer service was not good it felt like they didn't even want to be there. We ordered the Lomo saltado and half chicken. Prices were high but I was willing to pay, since it had great hype on Northern VA Foodies. Lomo saltado tasted like burnt soy sauce( extremely salty) and chicken was beside undercooked had not a good flavor. Honestly best lomo saltado I've had in Manassas area are from Suyo Wild Chicken and Raices hands down. As far as chicken deftly go to those places instead of here. The sauce was sour and runny. First Impression is EVERYTHING !! This place is closer to my house but I will still drive the extra 10 min to get my Lomo and chicken from Suyos. Sorry I won't give...
