Over the years I've gone to Spring Street Market to quickly pick something up. For a while I quit going because every time I bought something frozen there it had been frozen and unthawed and refrozen and was no good. After a few years they got a new freezer which works well now. I went in the store to make a purchase recently and had a roll of dimes that I wanted to pay with and was told that they did not accept dimes in a roll. I thought US currency was US currency and that all markets would be happy to take my money. I told the clerk okay give me the 2 $20 bill's that I was also paying with back. She gave me back my $40 and I left leaving my almost $50 worth of groceries sitting right on the check out counter. If they don't want to accept my roll of dimes I don't want to spend my 2 $20...

I've always liked this little local store but several months ago I had bacon in my cart and was holding another package debating if i needed 2. And 2 employees took the bacon out of my cart and the oackage i had in my hand.and told me it was priced wrong then asked me if I still wanted it for double the price! TOOK IT OUT OF MY HANDS AND MY CART! Then a few weeks ago I bought chicken and although it looked good it was definitely rotten by smell alone. What gets me though is we asked the butcher to repackage it because it was full of liquid so he had to have known ot was bad meat but sold it to us anyway.
