Wow. You can go to falafel and schwarma shops in many major cities (as we do regularly) and not find the yummy quality we found at Ramsey Grill in Manchester TN. Delightful falafel are homemade, perfectly seasoned and dry interior with ungreasy freshly fried crunchy exterior. Scored a ten. Homemade tahini lemon sauce just right Homemade marinated grilled chicken yumny and perfect, still hot off the grill. Homade tsatsiki cucumber yogurt sauce perfect. Plentiful plates with rice and greek salad filled our 7x7 inch takeouut containers, rounded out by a full four quarters of warm flatbread. I'd like fresh pita and not the thick commercial flatbread sold with apparently commercial Gyro meat which we did not a chance to sample. Salad was tiny but that may reflect the average locals avoidance of greens. Superlative homemade baklava, large slices. Owner and family prepare and serve your food with care and positive attitude. My husband and I visited this little diamond in the rough. We chose to try Ramsey's Grill based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. My husband had the Gyro combo and I had the Volcano plate. That Gyro is ON POINT! I love spicy food and the Volcano was fantastic. The service was fast and polite. There was a large group there at the same time we were there and there was a mix up with one of the customers orders. Yall... there were 3 employees trying everything to make things right for themselves.... to meet the establishments standards because the customer was not upset, not complaining and took their sincere apologies with grace. The employees/owners... (I'm not sure who owned the place because they were ALL trying to go above and beyond to make this customer's visit better. That doesn't mean they ignored other customers. PEOPLE YOU REALLY HAVE TO GO EAT AT THIS PLACE IT'S AMAZING....... Ok tonight's the second time my husband and I went to eat it was dinner time this time I ordered Gyros combo came with fries and a drink my husband ordered the supposed to be chicken sandwich combo and we both were surprised to see the chicken was cut up and it was wrapped just like the Gyros both combos came with cup ketchup and a cup of cucumber sauce and they were stuffed with so much meat it 2huge hands to hold it together unfortunately my hands were not big enough to hold it together so I had a mess everywhere the only thing they forgot was napkins but I can't fault them for that they were really busy at that time the food is very authentic it really makes me miss home even more but since that ain't gonna happen authentic food works...
