The competition for the world's best Sonic has ended. In a town of less than 13,000 people, the management magicians at Sonic of Manchester have figured out how to deliver the absolute best fast-food experience. Let's start with the employees. How come everyone who works here is smiling, impeccably dressed and groomed, and genuinely happy to serve customers? I thought there was a shortage of quality workers for the food service industry. Not here. Service? Place a mobile order and check in to your stall and just time how fast the order comes out - no matter how full the place is! Been there twice in the last week and both times there were only a handful of empty stalls. Order comes out in about 5 minutes, delivered by a smiling person with the best attitude. Today we ordered the bacon cheeseburger, grilled cheese, tots, and a corn dog. Only here will find the menu items delivered to your car looking exactly like the marketing photos. Opened up the burger; the bun was toasted yet soft, burger was grilled to perfection, veggies and condiments applied in perfect proportion. Tots; cooked just until the outside became crispy, while the inside remained soft. No doubt the fryer oil is changed on the regular. Grilled cheese; perfectly browned with the melty cheese oozing out the sides, yet placed in the wrapper with care such that the sandwich held its perfectly square shape. Corn dog; crispy goodness through and through. How about the care and upkeep of the grounds? Just imagine everything clean and washed with nicely landscaped frontage with plants that look gorgeous. My only complaint (wink, wink...) is that this Sonic establishment has not shared their secrets for running a fantastic restaurant with the world. Sharing is caring!:) Will come back to this Sonic every time we visit Manchester just to witness fast-food...
Read moreShould have more dates with half off milkshakes, make us go eat there alot more and I'm know others feel the same... Even though you may not make as much on the shakes at the time, you're not losing money but you are in food sales by people not going to sonic that wants a shake with their meals... The middle to lower class households tend to watch their spending a little more than the others and by the time a three or more persons household all get shakes with their meals they could go to a nice sit-down restaurant, get served, refills on drinks, salads & tip and the total amount is around the same... Maybe if someone orders a meal at sonic they could replace their drink with a shake for a dollar add on or something like that, either way the awesome shakes their brings in alot more customers as your total sales has to show that... As I pointed out before a three or more person household (say four) doesn't want to pay $20 plus dollars for four large shakes alone then four meals could push upwards of $50 or more... That's going out to eat two, three or four times for some families... All this to say sonic should have more half price shake offers lol, sorry to ramble on... Thanks for the opportunity to express my opinion, take...
Read moreThe last several times we have went to this location, they always forget the sauce that is supposed to come with your order. Sometimes it’s a pretzel with no cheese sauce, others it’s mozzarella without marinara. Tonight, we received the cheese sauce for our pretzels, but they forgot the marinara for our mozzarella sticks. My husband called because this continues to happen. The manager claimed that marinara does not come with the mozzarella sticks and that you have to add it at the end before you check out (we use the app). She then stated that our app must be outdated. The app updates on its own and the newest was 3 weeks ago. My husband called corporate to check because this woman was just arguing (GREAT customer service, btw) only for them to confirm that mozzarella sticks do indeed come with marinara sauce. There is not even an option to remove the sauce from coming with the mozzarella sticks if you are ordering from the app. I sincerely hope that management gets some training in both order accuracy as well as customer service. Maybe they should visit neighboring towns to see how they run...
