Recently brought my IPhone 12 in for some repairs. Had an accident and ended up cracking the back glass part of the phone and the it was spiderwebbing all the way up through but not including the camera lenses. Most importantly had a bend in the upper right side of the phones frame causing the phone to not sit straight and the front screen was slightly curved. Talked to a few companies about getting the work done and what it would cost to fix. Some companies wouldn’t even touch it due to the slight bend in the frame of the phone. Contacted apple and they quoted me almost $500 to fix the phone and that I just recently had expired AppleCare which wouldn’t cover any repairs. For that price I could just buy a new phone. Found out about this company and read the reviews which seemed to be very positive and that it saved people money. After talking with the owner on the phone about the issues I had, he gave me a price(which was a fraction of what other companies were charging) and explained in detail how he would fix the phone and the process. I brought it in the next afternoon after work He told me to come back in a few hours and he would have it fixed. After a few hours, I returned and he was still working on it on the counter in front me. He asked if I could come back in another hour. I agreed. When I returned he had the phone looking a lot better then when I had brought it to him originally. The bend was completely fixed as well as the back glass and around the camera lenses. We talked for a little after, showed me some other phones that he was fixing/working on and we settled the bill and I couldn’t be happier with the service. While it may have taken a little longer than expected to get it returned to me. When I saw the finished product, it showed his ability and attention to detail to get the job done correctly. Read moreSo this happened, ya know how it goes... spring cleaning fever hits, you rearrange your furniture, and put your charging station in a new area. And then IT happens! The ZOOMIES!!! Y'all with cats know what I'm talking about😅 In my home, there is never 1 cat with the zoomies...nope all 5 join in the festivities and form a "conga line" zipping through every nuk and cranny squealing with delight as 1 follows after the other. It is a regular Romper Room in here🥳 However, I quickly learned what a terrible idea it was to move my charging station... as my Galaxy tablet went flying through the air and landed with a thud😲 To my surprise, it wasn't broken, or so I thought. When I went to charge it, I realized the damage was on the inside. This is when I meet Elshan, owner of Tech Genius. I gave him a call, and he said, "same day service," he didn't need to say anymore. When I walked in, the 1st thing I noticed was his "hang loose" sign and his laid-back personality to go with it🤙 He is the calmest multi-tasker I have ever met. He will gladly have a conversation with you about life while his hands are busy fiddling with this and tinkering with that, repairing 1 tech device after another. As I sat there getting to know Elshan, several different customers came in (at different times), and they all said the same thing, this guy right here is the best! He is so respectful, and he knows what he is doing! He sure does! He has been in the professional tech repair business for 10 years. He had a kiosk at Buckland Hills Mall for many years (I think 8🤔) and has been in this new location going on a year in May 2024. Elshan is caring, respectful, and knowledgeable and goes out of his way to make you happy. Read moreWhere to even begin.. I brought my son’s Nintendo switch here because I saw they had great reviews. Upon drop off, I asked the man at the desk if they would call with a quote before repairing. He replied yes. I get a call later that night saying that the switch is fixed and it is $120. I politely told the man on the phone that I asked if we would be given a quote and that we never agreed to any pricing or were given a quote as promised. He said that the worker we spoke to early doesn’t speak English very well and that he would be happy to “return it to the condition it was dropped off in earlier”. So absolutely no accountability taken. Ok. I actually understand the worker doesn’t speak English very well but was completely rubbed the wrong way by this man’s response. Anyway, I send my partner to pick up our sons switch. They did not give him a receipt and by the time he got home, the left paddle is completely not registering or working. I called as soon as they opened the next day and was told to bring it back. We did. They said it needs a new battery and would do it no charge. Cool. I leave it and receive another call a few hours later saying it is fixed. I go to pick it up and surprise! It’s not working. They shrugged and said the paddle must need replacing. No apology, no eye contact as they casually say this, no partial refund.. just nothing. I was so upset at this point I literally walked out. I would NEVER suggest to anyone to come here. My partner and son are huge tech people and they have completely lost our business. First and last time I’ll set foot in their shop. So...
