I brought my son to Chuck e Cheese last night. The games were ok and I didn’t lose any points on broken machines as is sometimes the case. However, the one thing that disturbed my trip are the young kids roaming around without a parent in sight. I am talking about kids age 2 to 4. My son who is 4 was riding the little train when comes a young girl about aged 2 trying to jump on the riding train. I stood there searching frantically for a parent in sight. I was scared the child might get hurt and I didn’t want to touch someone else child. Eventually she made her way onto the train and continued riding with my son. Still no parents in sight. A few minutes later my son was playing another game and there comes a couple kids around age 3 or 4. Same thing, they tried to force my son off his game. I looked around and no parents are in sight. Eventually I swiped my card so they could play at other games. When those games were done they came back for me to do it again. The 2 year old from earlier then came back where she was relaxing on one of the games, occupying its space without using the machine and still no parents in sight. What the hell is wrong with people.Chuck E. Cheese need to implement a ‘you must watch your child policy’ when they are under a certain age. Not only is it unsafe to have your child running around unsupervised, young children don’t have the capacity to understand propper etiquette in that environment and they ruin the experience for...
Read moreOur experience was terrible. We spent $100 on pizza, salad bar, and 2 hours of games. When I purchased the salad bar, I should have looked at it before I bought it. The lettuce was rusty and gross. Their ice machine was completely out of ice on both sides, and I counted over 10 games not working in the back room alone.
They had three birthday parties going, so there were kids everywhere, but since so many machines were broken, there were lines and kids arguing over the working games. Meanwhile, it's not like they were understaffed. They had 6 workers standing behind the register, measuring themselves with a tape measure and just goofing off. I asked if we could have ice in the machine, but the girl just looked at me. She simply turned her back and walked away as if she had better things to do.
I asked why the receipt points were not going on the app, they had no clue. It shows the purchase in the history, but it was pending for 2 hours, so my daughter could not get the ticket rewards while we were there.
Twice, the tv system introduced Chuck E cheese, kids doing the countdown and everything, but nobody came out. That's such a disappointment for the little kids.
After telling them everything that was upsetting with the visit, as I turned my back, I heard one of the six workers call me a Karen. Sadly, we won't be back. Not to this location. They have the laziest...
Read moreWe went in for my niece's birthday. We stood in line for 30 minutes waiting to place our order. There was 1 person in front of us the entire time. We then tried to explain what we wanted to the person behind the register and quickly understood why the last group took 30 minutes to place an order. In total we ordered 2 pizzas, 4 drinks and 2 of their play cards with the most points. We had a coupon for a free pizza and it still came to $95. I used my credit card several times and it wouldn't work, then my wife used her card and it worked, but we were told it didn't work. My wife's card was charged, the screen said "Total due $0.00". The manger came over and assured us the charge would be reversed. But if we wanted the food we paid for we had to pay again. We decided to cancel the entire order and just skip the entire food. My family was nice enough to share their cards with my kids so they could play a bit. Then, the other family members waited over an hour for their pizza too come out. My mother went up to buy a drink and stood second in line for a half hour.
I could understand if the place was packed, but there were maybe 30 people in the entire place.
The stuff was very unapologetic about the entire situation even when we said something about it taking so long for a couple pizzas the response was "we're short staffed".
We will never go here again...
