In 59 years of ordering flowers from different vendors and nurseries, I have NEVER received such a wonderful surprise as what Woodlands Florals brought me. I had overheard someone talking about how beautiful a bouquet from Woodlands Floral was. I had never heard of them and don"t know where Manchester, Md is but thought, let me try them. I'm So Happy I did. I sent a picture of an arrangement I was thinking of for a Very Big Birthday for a Very Special Person in my life. Even though it was short notice, the very next morning I received what I can only describe as the most Beautiful bouquet of flowers I have ever purchased! It far exceeded the picture I had sent and was in a beautiful vase. All for less than I have ever spent at other places in total. I presented the bouquet to the Birthday Girl and she absolutely loved them. She STILL loves them because after more than a week, they still look as fresh as the day she got them. The other flowers that were received from the typical places have already been wilting and have lost their color. Not the flowers from Woodlands Floral. I have had the worst experience with Main Street who does business with AVAS Florist. The Avas florist website leads you to believe they are local, but in fact are located in New Jersey.

After ordering a $70 plus delivery for a total of $102, which was supposedly an order 45% off (which would make the arrangement over $125 in flowers, I got a small basket as seen below.) Does this look look like $70 worth of flowers to you. Even if I had ordered directly from Main Street, I would have been upset with this basket.

This florist went above & beyond the normal expectations for me and the friend for whom I ordered flowers .My friend was a professional flower grower. She was especially pleased with the two arrangements that came to her door. They were fresh and arranged professionally. I spoke with Laura on the phone and she has a caring and compassionate phone persona. She didn't rush me and her attention to detail was perfect.
