I would actually like to report I’d give it ZERO stars!!! We have ordered from here multiple times and as of now I would NEVER order from here even if it was the last place on earth and I was starving! I had so many problems I don’t know where to start! When I called to ask questions “1 of the people” that owns the place argued with me for over 5 minutes on the phone about my order. Let’s start with my entire order; kids cheeseburger (comes with shoestring fries), kids cheese ravioli, shrimp basket, tuna melt sandwich with mayo, grilled ham & cheese sandwich and a side of shoestring fries. I received all the food plus an extra order of fries. I wasn’t worried that I was charged for them and didn’t want them until I called. When I think of grilled ham & cheese I have always got grilled cheese with ham in it! Not from here; I got 3 slices of ham grilled with cheese in the middle places on a Kaiser roll that was NOT toasted! Same with the tuna melt. My main issue when I called was with the sandwiches. The lady asked me to hold and a gentleman got on the phone. I asked my questions about why the rolls aren’t even toasted and he said “yeah they were. Maybe not for long but they were”. I proceeded to say that the roll I have on both of my sandwiches aren’t NOT toasted, they are soft. He then said “well that is how we make them and we have been in business for 13 years”. When I asked about the tuna melt and not having mayo on the bread he said “mayo is in the tuna!” At this point I told him I have never in my life had somewhere that we order from all the time speak to me the way he did! When I brought up the bill we went over it and he said oh well she actually under charged you because she wrote you wanted 2 orders of fries. I told him that the kids cheeseburger comes with fries and that’s not my fault if she wrote it out wrong. I don’t agree with the customer is always right because they aren’t but damn! When I asked when I could speak with an owner he said “I am 1 of the people!” Everyone that was with me heard the conversation and stated they would never eat there again either. I wasn’t exactly sure what to do because I needed to vent. The guy basically said oh well and he didn’t know what I wanted him to do!” So just as a heads up to everyone, make sure you check your order as they are ringing it up and if you want a warm sandwich, then go elsewhere! I did tell him that I would make a complaint online and he said “if that makes you happy then go ahead” so here I am! They definitely lost a couple...
Read moreI literally just finished eating, after my first time ordering from Pizza Garden. It was SO incredibly good, I’m very pleased to have found a great non-chain, quality pizza place. I moved from Montgomery Co. MD. last year,& have found absolute lackluster choices, of decent restaurants in the area. With zero Peruvian chicken brassiera places, and no Kabob restaurants, yadda yadda yadda, I just assumed the pizza restaurants would also be lacking .
Someone told me to try Pizza Garden,& I honestly assumed that it would be the equivalent of Papa John’s, or the like. It is SO much better than any chain pizza shop, by a long shot!
I don’t know what is the deal with the reviewer/s, stating how dreadful their service is?! What exactly are you expecting? You place an order, and pick it up, or have it delivered. This isn’t a Michelin 5 star restaurant, it’s a small pizza shop! To me, they were pleasant, accommodating, and service was quick,& the quality was outstanding. I ordered two regular NY style pizzas, one plain, one with two toppings. Both were fabulous, quality ingredients and toppings. My daughter and her friend,& I, all loved it. We’ll definitely be back!! *I've been back here, easily ten more times, & every time , the food is AWESOME! My favorite menu item is probably the battered cauliflower,...
Read moreFood is incredible, best ive had anywhere. Service is great they get to know you well enough that when you call from a different phone number they know your voice and the girl at the cash register is super cute, lol.
Got a star deducted for having Fox News on in the dining room though. If i'm going out to eat, watching the news is already something I dont want. I want to relax and the news only serves as a constant reminder of all the bad things going on. But having it be a propaganda channel based around a creative interpretation of real news is just a bit too far for comfort. For me, at least.
Golden Girls, Seinfeld, even This Old House or Antiques Roadshow, they're all good choices. Its your restaurant so you can do whatever you want, but from experience I can tell you that nobody has ever thrown a rock through the window of a business for having sitcom reruns on. I hope nobody chooses to take things to that extreme and it is not something I condone. (Note I will not be the one to do it and this is not a threat, just an observation of how...
