I took in 18lbs of deer sausage to get processed. I realize that is a small amount, but we process the rest ourselves and was just hoping to get some deer sticks made. When I went in the guy was extremely rude, and made me feel like I was wasting his time. Fast forward 3 months and I get a call from them say my meat is done and the total is over $500!! My husband called them and they tell us that our 100 lbs of meat is done. He explains that we only brought in 18lbs and that there is no what that could be ours. They let us know they will call us back. 2 weeks later, no call, so my husband calls again, same story our 100 lbs is ready. He asks for the manager to call him back. Another week goes by and we get a call saying our meat is ready. My husband calls again and they tell us our total is over $500 and it's still the 100 lbs of meat! Not only are we convinced we are not going to get back our actually deer meat that we brought in, which was some very lean meat, I wonder who is missing their 100 lbs of meat. We are so disappointed in our experience with Butcher Block, since we've always enjoyed their meat. Customer service needs some serious adjustments before we ever go or refer...

High quality all around with a fantastic selection to choose from. Everytime I head through North Dakota I make it a point to stop in here and absolutely pack my RV fridge with whatever looks good. My last visit yielded their entire selection of brats, a frozen wagyu steak, a tub of liver pate, summer sausage, meat sticks and a few other goodies, and rest assured they were all truly outstanding, you can't go wrong.    Read moreSo I brought my deer here to get processed. I did not get very many different cuts out of it. I basically got a few steaks, 3 chops and 40+lbs of ground. This ran me $147. Not too happy at this point. I went in to get some hog casings and asked them about it. They had the gentleman that butchered my deer call me. He basically explained that they don’t usually get any roasts out of the deer and that there is basically nothing we can do about it at this point.
