Habitat for Humanity of the Northern Flint Hills — Local services in Manhattan

I can not speak more highly of our experience working with the Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity construction services & Ft. Riley HBI (Home Builders Institute) crew! My husband and I were originally planning to sell our former home (now rental property) when we were contacted by our friend Aaron who had a family in need of housing. Unfortunately our property was in need of significant attention to get it ready. Josh & Cody with Habitat quickly gathered their resources and within a week had a team of individuals working on our property to get it ready for the family. Everyone was wonderful, the work was quality, communication was excellent, very transparent on the cost of services, and they utilized materials , whenever possible, from Restore to save us on some item costs. So frustrated with this organization. I am trying to donate some furniture, TV's, recliner, bedroom set etc.. that belonged to my mother who is now in a nursing home.
