Friends from out of town came to visit so we tried a new place. Sat down quickly which was good, especially for how busy they were. But… The server was rude to us the entire meal. She spent as little time as possible with us - it was embarrassingly rude.
Food was okay. Changes like eggs on the side were ignored. And I say ignored because she didn’t even write it on the ticket. She quickly gave us our ticket and then had other servers come and bring us our food, refills, etc. Like… I was embarrassed by her rudeness because she did NOT act like that with other customers. We weren’t even difficult.
Then we get to checkout and there she is behind the counter joking with other employees and serving another customer. Saw us and stopped smiling and went to the back. Ummm… what?
We pay and split the bill. All is well. We go outside and chat for a few minutes; an employee runs outside and tells us we didn’t pay for something, even though we checked out through her and made sure it was all good before leaving. But instead of apologizing for HER mistake, she blames us and made it seem like we were trying to walk out on paying. Again, we were trying to be understanding because we get it, things happen. We give her a twenty dollar bill which would cover the five dollars missing and told her to put the rest toward the tip… she gave us a disgusted and confused look and then back inside. The whole thing sounded extremely sketchy to be honest.
TLDR: Rude wait staff. Horrible customer service. Mediocre food. Embarrassed to take...
Read moreKudos to the Host when I was there around 10am this morning he was super courteous and friendly. To the manager and “owner” do better. You notice the host standing idle for 60 seconds. You failed to notice the customer sitting next to me that was seated before me but didn’t get to place his order until after I got my food. You ignored the waitress that was using dull NON SAFETY box cutter- pulling towards herself while cutting off box tops. The blade inches from her chest and forearm. To the manager that was embarrassed your staff didn’t look busy in front of your “owner” do better it’s your job to train them. Additionally explaining to your staff how to clean the bathroom next to your customers eating should be embarrassing - an “owner” that makes an observation only being onsite for less than 6 minutes clearly is uneducated. Do better management you failed your staff and customers. Good job though send the minimum wage worker home early that is the respectable thing...
Read moreAnd we have a favorite new local place to eat in town! Atmosphere is friendly, clean and open. Staff is over the top in service. Food is scrumptious and made fresh. This is definitely a repeat place and send all our friends and new people we meet that aren’t our friends yet. Easy to get to and easy parking too. Man ... I’m making myself hungry just doing the review. Want to try a burger next time as I heard they were yummy. I went out on the limb as I don’t like most sausage that’s put in gravy (they use the good kind And I split an order with my friend so pictured is a half order of delicious) however it topped the homemade biscuits well. I’m also not a French toast person but the strawberry stuffed French toast was a scrumptious end to my meal of eggs done just right and crispy bacon. Oh man ... anyone want to meet me there for lunch today? I believe I’ve talked myself in to a back to back...
