UPDATE WOW!! just because I hate the "great job" 5 star reviews I'm going to tell my story. And just in case you hate to read, I highly recommend Extreme. Mainly for their persistence and overall concern with customer service. Last year at Daytona bike week 2021, I went down with the full intention of getting a system in my 2015 street glide. Walked up to a few booths and extreme was by far the best overall display and service. Gentleman promptly asked me what I was looking for, and I didn't know. I just wanted more sound than what I had. Bunch of options so I picked him brain. He told me if I want the best to go with the focal system. And me being me, I wanted something I could depend on so that's what I went with. Guys got me in next day. Very careful with the bike. Very sociable explaining what was happening. Techs were tuning it and you could tell immediately it was twice the sound of the original. Loved it.. 3 months later on a ride to Florida I lost a speaker. Called extreme, called focal, sent emails with no return, so I thought. Here I probably talked to the wrong people, didn't have a voice-mail set up and may have even block the number because I thought it was a telemarketer. Fast forward to days ago February 2022, I seen a post on a recommendation on what system to put on a bike. I told my story on how my customer experience went with both companies. Minuets later I get a private msg from a tech at extreme. Telling me he's sorry for the experience and how they wanted to make things right. Told me I'd be getting a phone call the next day so they could get me taken care of. Sure enough, got the call. A gentleman that in my eyes sounded truly concerned with my experience with the system talked me through what he tried to do back in June when I had first called. After almost a year.... Here, I'm 95% sure all this confusion was my fault. Extreme still wants to make my experience a great one. After I bad mouthed their customer service. The gentleman I talked with, talked like I was a 20000 dollar paying customer. I was completely blown away. Told me to come see him back in Daytona, and he would personally make sure I was taken care of. The character of this company, and it's employees are a 5.5 in my book now. New system goes in Daytona...
Read moreI went in to get my car audio installed I had two sundown 12 inch in a box with a 3200 watt amp. I talked to Adam and he assured me that it would be a 2 to 4 hour set up over the phone. i get there adam tells me they subs are great all working properly so after 4 hours I then asked what was going on I could hear the music playing and they told me they were testing it and it would be about 15 more minutes. Then 4 more hours passed I asked what was going on yet agian. They told me something was wrong and to come look I go look and my subwoofers both were completely blown. They said it was then my fault because I bought the subs box and amp off of market place but the real kicker is the seller tested them in front of me before I bought them after Adam telling me at the start of the installation they sounded great it was now blamed on me that they were both blown
Now to get out of paying for new sunwoofers they said only one was bad unplugged one so I couldn't hear the other subwoofer .
I could see a screw missing from a subwoofer
They then started shouting in front of my 2 year old daughter that it was not there problem.
9 and a half hours into the set up the owner showed up to then say it was my fault also .
Promised me a discount and gave me his word he would make them work .
10 and a half hours into this set up he then collected my money and told me he could not fix these $600 a piece and that it was my problem.
I at this time have been in the shop so long I just want all my money back
Took a phone call to my girlfriend on speaker phone to convince them to Give me a full refund
They did.
I then went home out of state with broken suboofers
Now present day other audio shops will not touch it because extreme audio has had that many bad reviews.
DO NOT GO TO...
Read moreWe brought our brand new 2013 crossover in the have the windows tinted. We thought it was a fair price at $260.00. After a hand wash and dry at home. We noticed that when they cut the tint with a razor blade, they also cut through the paint on the rear window. The cut was 3+feet long! They also cut the weather stripping on a side window. We brought it back the next business day (Monday). They apologized and said that they had to talk to the owners to see how to handle this. Now it's Thursday and no word. We stopped in and talked to the owner, who also apologized and said it would be taken care of. He took pictures to send to his insurance and that we should get a few estimates done. After no communication, their insurance called and wanted me to fax them a estimate, which I did. A few days later we got a check in the mail. They took care of the issue they caused, but told us no on refunding us our money and have avoided calling me back when I called and asked about the loaner they said we were supposed to get since our brand new car rear hatch has to be repainted and the rear window has to be removed to do this. It's no longer brand new. Please think carefully before you do any business with them. Yes, they paid for something they caused, but I feel as though if you want someone's business again you make it better. Not saying no to a refund or even a partial refund....
