I got my starter put in December 2020. First off they didn’t put the wires back correctly. I was the last appointment of the day. I came from the cities to this shop because of a recommendation. Needless to say my 2 year old and I picked the car up at 4:55, within 10-15 of being called that it was done. I knew I’d need gas after that. I went to get gas and could not get the door to open with the button. I called Sweet Sounds to ask them to fix it and they were gone. I had to drive over to Kia we’re luckily there was a sales person and bang on the window to get him to get the door open so I wasn’t stranded with a 2 year old in Mankato, in the dark, during winter. This was fixed after I drove back. The system I got was one of the more “top of the lines” it’s never worked well and not at a distance either like they said. The icing on the cake is the sales person said if we ever need to switch it out of my vehicle to another it could be done a small service fee charge. Well we just call to have that done and it cost more then buying a new system. I specifically asked this question as I knew this day would come, unfortunately sooner then I thought. The sales person lied. I would never recommend this place to any friends or family that I have in the Mankato and I have lots of them. You can bet you bottoms dollar that I’m about to tell all of them...

The details: I wanted a subwoofer installed. I asked for a complicated install requiring a custom-built box. Sweet Sounds says no problem. They not only ran into problems, they found solutions... on the fly, even after Jeff was exhausted!

If I could give Sweet Sounds 100 stars I would! If you want a real setup, you will go to Sweet Sounds. When people ask you what you paid, you will not care because it sounds like what you actually wanted and it features a showroom quality appearance!

Jeff and his crew recently corrected and updated my vehicle sound system which had severe issues after a competitive installation. He explained the troubleshooting process in detail beforehand and stayed in contact with me during the process. The end result is a complete, digitally tuned, high-end system (that I thought I was getting the first time). Given the complexity of these newer vehicle systems, cost was fair... and the installation worksmanship is impeccable. Don't be fooled by free or " $1.00" installations, you get what you pay for... I have know Jeff since he upgraded my F250 back in 2004. I certainly regret taking my 2021 F350 to a competitor-I learned my lesson . I highly recommend...
