Absolutely amazing shop, Amanda and everyone else there was so easy and pleasant to work with. I made multiple trips from Philly out to this shop during my quest for the perfect engagement ring. I was looking for something specific as well as unusual, and was surprised at how difficult it was to find a jeweler who would truly hear me out. After visiting many many jewelry stores, I was most comfortable here, and I felt like I got real, honest opinions and information, without feeling judged for my jewelry ignorance!

If you are looking for estate pieces like I was, this should be your first stop, hands down. Such a huge selection compared to the tiny estate display you will find in most jewelry stores, and very reasonable prices

Ultimately (after a long period of indecision) I found elsewhere a sapphire in an unusual color I fell in love with, and brought it to Amanda et al to find a setting. They talked me through options, accommodated my weird design requests, and the finished product was more beautiful than I had imagined it would be. My fiance was impressed, along with our friends and family, and she still gets compliments all the time. I really was going for a vintage vibe, and she gets asked often if it's an heirloom!

My sister and I recently lost our mother who left us with jewelry from her and our grandmother. We kept the items that were sentimental to us, but had quite a bit that neither of us nor my daughters would ever use.

Some items are now on consignment, some we took store credit, and some we received a cash price. I even brought my broken engagement ring to be fixed which is where I will use my store credit.

Classic Estate Jewelry has great selection and is worth looking at if used fine jewelry is your thing, but their prices are WAY too high for their gold pieces. I went in as a buyer and asked to look at a few pieces and noticed that several rings and earrings were lying strewn around the display cases. I looked at a used, decently scratched ring with a markup of nearly 300%, and you could see fingerprints all over the stone and layers of oil/skin cells caked on the setting.
