I came to donate 7 bags of toys, shoes, and clothes earlier. In transit a mirror/frame broke. One I had planned on donating. I had my kids in the car so I didn't want to leave it there. So I deposited it in the dumpster before heading up the ramp to donate the bags. Last thing we needed was one of my kids or an employee hurting themselves on the broken item. Some young man came out to scold me like a child. After apologizing and explaining why I threw it away he basically couldn't care any less and scolded me again. He then said he would go ahead and take my donations. No. I absolutely will never donate here again. I chose here solely for it to benefit the community. I searched local places to donate and thought by reviews this would be the lace to go. Instead I was confronted and scolded by a young man for doing him a favor. The thing was a hazard and I wouldn't want to donate broken items to possibly someone. I absolutely no longer feel comfortable donating here. Poor customer service. Again, I apologize for trashing th broken donation. Still that was not enough to warrant...
Read moreThis thrift store does great work for the community and I’ve been hesitant to leave a review because of it, but this is getting out of hand. The prices here are insane. $4 for any shirt from 2015 from the local high school? A dirty 2x8 rug for $20? Baby clothes for $2+? $1 for a box of USED crayons? Card games for $4? Party supplies from target for $3? You all turn away donations because your workers say your floor is full - this is because your prices are way too high for a thrift store. If you all want to clear your floor to accept more donations (which means more $ to the community) do $1 for all toys. Sell your t shirts for $2, pants for $4, shorts for $3, etc. Have sale days where all clothes are 50% off! You can keep your “designer / NWT” rack, but everything else should be standard pricing. These are donated goods that you get for FREE! I will continue to shop here because I love the work you all do, but do better. I used to frequent 1-2x per week. Now I come maybe 1x per month with not a lot of turn over in...
Read moreSuper clean and so easy to shop! I love that they have affordable prices and aren't trying to ask retail for donated items like some places. I appreciate that they have everything in sizes and try to ensure it is a safe environment for shoppers. They are constantly restocking and returning items to the floor that has been returned. They cary a variety of items to include furniture. The prices reflect that they are donated items and they are striving to sell items for the ministry and not concerned about resellers. I found many items that I needed for my two littles in their room for organization. I noticed that any boutique item or item with tags has an X on the tag to prevent returns to retail stores. That is awesome. Parking was easy. They still require masks, social distance and have sanitizer. I appreciate it. I enjoyed my shopping experience and thank the staff for being helpful and kind. They greeted customers as they walked...
