My boyfriend and I went to get his nipple pierced February 24th. I chose this place based on its positive reviews related to piercings specifically. Long story short, our experience was not equivalent to the other testimonials. The staff is very nice and kind,facility looked great, but the service itself was a 1 out of 5 unfortunately.

Our piercer, who I won’t mention by name, was a cool guy but he clearly messed up while completing the service and didn’t acknowledge it. It took him 8 minutes to pierce one nipple and while doing so he had to pierce it twice because the original jewelry he admitted to use, was too large and did not fit. Then when I asked him “did you just re-pierce it?” he responded by saying “no, it’s just a stretcher. “

In the photos provided, you can see him start by using the clamps, stopped, pushed the needle through, tried to put the jewelry in but it did not go all the way through, only half way. He took that jewelry out, pushed the needle through for the second time then put the right size jewelry in. Photos are time stamped.

My boyfriend and I knew he messed up because after his first attempt, he started talking ALOT and repeating the same exact thing over and over just in a different word pattern. “Your nipple is just small bro, that’s the problem, it’s just small.” That shouldn’t have been a problem bc he spent at least 5 minutes measuring out the right piece of jewelry before he began. Also, I understand piercings bleed, but my boyfriend was bleeding FAR more than normal.

Blasted Tattoos- work was done by Grease [Matthew]. Grease was very easy to work with form scheduling the appointment to answering all questions and bringing my idea to life. He is truly an artist and personable. Grease put a blocked line down my spine, with some breaks in the line. Most people will think, “simple” or even “easy”. FALSE. A straight line that’s is 24 inches long, with breaks is very difficult to accomplish. Down the center of the spine with no errors. The first sign that he was a true artist is when he was doing the placement of the stencil. The stencil can move slightly when being placed, he had it down my spine and from what I felt it was good! He didn’t like the placement of it 3 different times and each time he cleaned and replaced the stencil until it was perfect! During the tattooing process he talks to you and lets you know when he’s about to put the needle on you. That helps when you are anticipating and cannot see, this was a huge help! Grease was great! I’ll definitely do all of my future tattoos with him.

The shop was great, from the moment I walked in I felt good. Smooth music, comfortable seating and overall good smell! All of the people who work there, artists and staff are great and pleasant. I’d get a tattoo by any one of them, they are all extremely talented in what they do.

Went into Blasted for mom-daughter piercings, & I cannot express enough how Gigi's great experience marked us today! I've gotten a few piercings in my life, but this girl here has the touch to pierce! My daughter's & I both had very light to no pain from our nose, industrial, and belly piercings.

Unlucky me, my nose piercings like to come out & close quick. So my experience with Gigi is actually the 3rd time I've gotten my nose pierced. So I can tell you that not all people have that special touch/sensitive to pierce. Long story short.. Last year my daughter, my sister, & I had gotten our nose pierced at a tattoo shop just a few doors down, and this is why I say not everyone is meant to do this. The lady that pierced us was rough, & it all felt very painful. All of us got out with so much discomfort, pain & saying how aggressive she was with the process. I will say the lady was very sweet, but piercing is not her calling.

So yes, GIGI is our girl from now on, because we will be back for other stuff! She is also very patient & caring! The two guys at the front counter were also very kind & helpful. For reference, my daughter's are 13 & 16, so it was very nice to have them experience this great customer service all...
