Getcha Sum Ice Cream Parlor — Restaurant in Mansfield

I really love this ice cream spot. This is the second of 2 locations, and I like both because they are both off the beaten path and they have a system of cycling out their homemade flavors every week.

They offer a variety of flavors, and they're all made in house. The flavors are delicious and interesting. But don't sleep on any of them, because it's while supplies last, and often it's not for long. There's been countless of times where we saw they had a funky fun new flavor but by the time we got around to swinging by the flavor was sold out.

The Parlor off E Broad is located in a quaint little house, and there really isn't much in the way of signage. You have to know it's there, and people do, because it's always packed every time I go by.

The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The space is clean and inviting. It's the ideal stop on one of our hot Texas summer days.

Some tips: Join their Facebook page because they let you know which flavors they have each week, and they will post updates if either of the locations still particular has flavors in stock. Also, you can try a variety of flavors while you're there. Taste a couple to try the fun flavors and to nail down which you want a cup or cone...

We dropped by on a weekday during the hot Texas summer months to have a sweet cold treat and left happy. The staff was very welcoming and displayed great customer service while we walked in. The young lady asked us if we had been here before and gave us some information about all the ice cream and how they make the ice cream in house and rotate flavors throughout the month. We decided to get the cinnamon toast crunch and a chocolate brownie ice cream. Both were delightfully tasty, and the flavor profile was spot on. There is a 2nd location near downtown Mansfield on Broad St that opened recently and is nestled in a beautiful bright blue and white cottage style house.

I highly recommend coming here and having some ice cream with friends and family because this place doesn't disappoint, and it will indeed put a smile...
