I will not be coming to this theater again. I’ll start off saying that it was my husband, myself and our nephew (7 year old). We booked our three tickets online on Thursday for a Saturday show. Once we reached and we were told the auditorium had to be changed because there was a large audience. COMPLETELY UNDERSTANDABLE. But where the issue began was our seats were in the disabled lane and 2 of the seats were not even there, for wheelchair purposes. It is still understandable, but when my husband was expressing the issue as they were prepaid seats and we couldn’t just get up and sit elsewhere, the general manger became very rude despite my husband and myself telling her the issue in a respectful and polite way. She started to down the wrong lane and wasted so much of our time and saying how we were being disrespectful and she can’t do anything about it. We told her that the change of auditorium is not our problem and the least she could do is check and get us any other three seats available. She finally then printed out the confirmation and came in the theater along with two other colleagues of hers. This was an issue with 4 other people and she told them to sit where ever they can find a seat. She also told us to sit where she eyed three available seats. And I said if the people came for those seats where you are telling us to sit then, we don’t want to go back and forth through the movie and she said she will take care of it. We sat and the lady next to me said the seat I was sitting on was for her husband. We eventually moved over and my nephew was sitting in my husband’s lap, which was uncomfortable for both of them. AND AGAIN, the two seats we were sitting on the two viewers came after wards and they started to tell us those were their seats, told them about the issue and told her to go to guest services as the general manager told us. We eventually left a little bit after half the show. It was absolute waste of time and the service from the manager was very unprofessionally handled. Didn’t even give the refund. WILL NEVER BE GOING...

1- They don’t know how to maintain proper facilities. The AC has simply not worked in a theater and I felt sick from the heat and stuffiness but they would not acknowledge that there was a problem even though people were walking out mid movie sweating. No full refund. Seriously miserable experience.
2- More recently the screen had a significant issue and people were coming out to let staff know many times through the movie that something wasn’t right with the screen and it was giving people headaches (it looked like double vision almost) 3D glasses didn’t fix it. Nothing did. The staff did nothing except offer people who asked (like walked out of the theater and waited in line to inform them AGAIN that something was wrong) to see a later showing - no full refund options, and not many good showing left because they were all filled up. Terrible customer service and handling of the situation. Especially not being able to refund fees when it’s clearly a problem in their part.
3- The food is not great. Probably an AMC wide thing but it’s overpriced junk food that tastes like fake butter and nothing else. Yeah, movie theaters are typically like this, but there are some I’ve gone to that have decent food and prices and it’s certainly not a redeeming quality.
4- The lack of overall cleanliness and staffing doesn’t help either. The chairs aren’t even comfortable and the theater feels really dysfunctional and outdated with a shiny sticker lazily slapped on top.
Go to Riverbank, Stockton, Modesto, Lodi- literally any other theater. Find one with spacious seating and good staff, because you won’t...
Read moreThough I enjoyed the content of the movie I saw, absolutely every other part of my experience here was disappointing. Seating was a pain, due to very tight rows, and aggressive patrons. I'd estimate about half the seats were occupied by humans, and the other half were used to store food, jackets, purses and what not. Arguments were breaking out over seat hoarding, and several people ended up having to sit on the steps. I came with one other person before the movie started, and we were not able to get seats next to each other, despite the fact that several seats next to me were used for the belongings of a large family. I complained to the staff and was assured that an usher would come to help sort things out, but that never happened. The selection of food was small and also very overpriced. The staff would turn a blind eye to families who buy one ticket, and then sneak in other people through the front door (not even the back doors). Lines were long due to the place being understaffed. Seats were not cleaned well, and fallen popcorn...
