NOTHING AGAINST JC PENNYS AT ALL.I JUST ALWAYS FELT LIKE A SAFE place to come and think freely. it's been lately a place to see and feel sincere smile, offers up the hospitality value not only you as for you,but u want to bring grandma. sincerely Aime and staff around her make you feel like a whole new person when you leave. Its Refreshing to see such values that are rare these days. When humanitarian virtue is still alive and the care if how you are and the care of your wellbeing importance first, and the value of self worth was important than the worldly comobities and materialistic ways it's become more and more.so to make a short story LONGER,LOL.THIS STORE MAKE YOU TELL YOUR STORY,STRESS AND WORRIES,As the staff like Aime makes you feel ok,and MELT AWAY while now wanting to spend $ just to receive that hospitality again was worth me spending and still feeling good that I bought it,and not return it because she made it worth while good feeling, you want to keep it,because it's valued with that feeling. Its meaningful now.As I drive away glowing happy,I realized in a that moment in line,I told her my story, speaking Thai to her,and her in English.I was right I recognized her hospitality matched to the geniune smile you will face as money we'll spent I felt because of the persons helping you along, is the experience you seek and u will get it here at Manteca JCPenney's, Aime and staff you'll want to seek and see for yourself.Thank You Aimee and Staff.    Read moreI ask myself why I torture myself with this store. I went in again to find a specific ring that was in stock at the store level. While purchasing the ring, the associate informed me if I order online I would save close to $300. Why would I pass that up? The associate tells me she can do the ordering online in the store for me. Again why would I pass that up? Before completing the transaction she asks if I want to add the care package and I accepted since all the other jewelry I have purchased I have added the care package. The only drawback was that I couldn't add the care package until the ring was delivered and picked up in the store. No big deal. I paid for the ring at the time of order. The call came from the store about a week later stating the ring was ready for pick up. My fiance went to pick up the ring and pay for the care package. Upon picking up the ring (with receipt in hand) an associate who wasn't present at time of purchase stated the balance of the ring is due, even with proof of the receipt showing paid in full at time of order. How pathetic is it that I have to open my banking app showing the money was taken out of my checking account to prove it was paid in full. After all that drama, in order to pay for the care package the amount of the ring (per their policy) had to be refunded to my account then paid again with care package included. The associate and manager seemed to have no sense on how to provide the customer service we expect. Needless to say we returned the ring due to their lack of interest in selling...
Read moreYesterday, my fiance and I visited our local Jcpenneys in Manteca to look for a suit and a ring for my fiance, because his ring was never manufactured that I had originally purchased due to Covid-19 shut downs and his he was unable to get his suit at the place we had ordered from as well. The selection was not very plus size friendly but that's alright, and I received just terrible customer service at the Jewelry counter. There were two ladies behind the counter that seemed annoyed by my presence when they would peak up and over at me. Another lady had walked up and they were quick to help her, but she had mention that I was there before her and finally one of the ladies was forced to help me out. Then she had no interest in what I was there for what so ever, I felt rushed and like I wasn't welcome. She had a screw you kind of attitude. All I would like to know is this, is it in the person that works behind the Jewelry counter's job description to give customer service or to stand there and stare at you like your wasting their time? I am a nice person I treat others with kindness and respect. I don't usually write reviews but this...
