Poor management in a dangerous neighborhood.
I can reliability expect to be disappointed every time I use this store. It's the closest to me and I regret going to everyime.
1st bad experience was picking up a dinning table I ordered online. Was supposed to be curbside but 20 minutes after I checked in no one came out with the item... I had my back door open and ready to go! I went in and long story short, it took 40 minutes and the table was damaged. The woman did not care at all and said I already accepted it. Which was not true. She carted it over and said "there you go". I look at it and see the whole bottom of the box ripped open and the table paint scraped off.
2nd bad experience- picked up some paint for a spare room and the thoughtless design of the line is unmotivated employees attending to what is supposed to be self check out lanes... so they removed regular lines to install self check out lines... only to staff them with cashiers?! Often several dozen people line up for the laziest people to check them out. Honestly they act like breathing is too much work for them much less helping a customer.
3rd bad experience- purchased a bed frame online. Decided not to use curbside because I learned my lesson from last time... went straight in and they took 30-40 minutes to work throught the 2 people in line before me. Once I got there they called the guy that's supposed to retrieve it from the locker by the pro desk. She called at least 4 times for him. I watch him drag is baggy pants down to the customer service desk with out a box. Then slog all the way back to the locker. The kid was barely 72 lbs and could not even lift this 100lb box much less load it. I had to stop him from hurting himself and did it myself.
This location will not have what you need. If it does, you will have to dig throught the unorganized shelves to find it. Then, you will have to wait too long in line to be checked out by disinterested cashiers. No one here seems to be an expert in any department they work in and I rarely see more than 2 employees on the floor at any one time.
Whoever is getting paid to be a manager and or supervisors are actively stealing money from Home Depot because they are not leading. They are collecting a paycheck without doing the work the right way. If they did, the store would look like someone cared about it. It is trashed, not maintained, shelves are unorganized, employees are not motivated to provide customers a goos experience. Literally no one wants to be in this store and it shows.
I often choose to driver further away, even to other Home Depots for a better experience.
Management- you are failing. In every sense of the word.
Corporate- you are failing to inspect and hold management...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBased on my visit on Sunday, June 13th. This review could have been lower except for the services of Dale(Floor Covering and a gentleman working the lawn care isles). These two Home Depot employees deserve 5 stars in my opinion. The Customer Services department in my opinion show miserable service and communication skills. Most likely due to poor training by managers. This is my story and I'm sticking to it. UPDATE. August 7th, 2023.Visited this store August 7th , 2023 before noon. Mistakenly lost my car keys somewhere in the aisles. I notified customer service and there appeared to be little concern. I was advised to ask the cashiers. Same results. I retraced my search in all the aisles. Same results. No keys. I left my name and phone number with customer service so they could contact me if the keys were found. I contacted a local roaming security officer and asks that my car be monitored while I hired a taxi ride home to retrieve my spare keys. Several hours later I called the store and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with a person with the last name of Perry. Turns out. The phone information I left with customer service was never turned over to the Manager. After explaining my situation I was told, Home Depot had no obligation to announce earlier ā A customer has lost his keys, if you locate them, Please turn them in to customer serviceā. This is not my first rodeo at this particular storeā¦But likely my last. Just a few extra miles to another Home Depot locationā¦ā¦Poor customer service. Employees with Salty attitudes. and on and on and on. I would rather slide down a razon blade into a bucket...
