Captain Hooks Seafood & Grill — Restaurant in Maple Heights

I walked in and the cashier was eating and she asked me what I wanted to order. There two employees standing at front counter as well and was doing paperwork but did not acknowledge me, They appeared to be owners or management. I ordered a Perch Dinner and catfish sandwich! I was advised that my order would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I paid cash and was not given a receipt from cashier. I thought about it as I went to another store in the plaza. As I went back to pick up my order, I asked cashier was my order ready and she proceeded to hand me my bag. I said thank you. She acknowledged. The owner/ manager never greeted me either time or even thanked me for my patronage. As I sat down to eat at home the coleslaw was running over into my Perch, bread was soggy, and the perch was small( supposedly comes with three pieces, but they gave me four) it was fried too hard so I didn’t taste any fish. the catfish sandwich which was for my sister was soggy with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato and it not good. Let me see where to even start! Well, the mac and cheese was not eatable! The hush puppies were not cooked properly, they were mushy inside. I ordered a Walleye DINNER. There was one small piece of Walleye cut into three pieces for $25.00. I substituted in mac and cheese, and rice pilaf for an extra $6 dollars. the mac/ch was horrible and it was lacking salt. Food was not worth the price. $18 Catfish dinner for fish that was most certainly not catfish, it tastes like Polluck (frozen fish stick meat). $12 Wing dinner; 5 beyond steroids super tough whole wings. Garlic Parm sauce tastes like salad dressing (Italian dressing mixed Kraft Parmesan cheese & jarred minced garlic). Dinners come with fries 2 slices of wheat bread & Cole slaw.
