Dollar Tree — Local services in Maplewood

Great service I wanted to commend the ladies in dollar tree tonight. I just left and it’s almost 8:30pm, and I know employees can get tired towards the end of the night, but these ladies did a phenomenal job. There was a lady in the store claiming the two black employees were being rude and were discriminating against her. They simply informed her that they had to work the helium machine for balloons and that customers are not allowed to. This customer claimed she did not hear them after they firmly stated it multiple times. She said she did not hear them due to her hearing aid battery dying, which may have been true, but she did not take out the time to listen to anything the employees told her. They asked her to pay for her things she left on the checkout counter because there was a line forming or to leave the store because she was causing a scene. The customer claimed they were discriminating against her because of her disability. All in all, the two ladies at dollar tree remained calm and dealt with he disruptive customer rather well, without being disrespectful or demeaning...

A little worn and beat up on the outside, a little worn on the inside. But that's just the walls and the fixtures and the shelving. Despite looking like it is just about to be refreshed, this DT was well stocked. There was plenty of merchandise on the shelves and it was all put away properly.

It seems like someone in charge here is making the best of what they have and that's why I was able to find exactly what I needed - mostly two pairs of reading glasses after the last ones broke on the plane. The person who checked me out was pleasant and I was on my way.

I I have been shopping here since the store opened. I have to say that the employees there are very helpful with your needs. Every time I go there somebody is able to find an item in the back or show me to where it's on the Shelf. The reason why I give it three stars is the place is filthy! It needs to be rehabbed there's enough bacteria, stains and dirt on that floor probably make everybody in this country sick! Rehab this Dollar Store it's nasty!!! The shape of this door reflects poorly on the owners! Stop being cheap...
