Very comprehensive new age store! We visited during the Maplewood Christmas Tree Walk. We were handed a pouch of stones as we entered, which was unexpected but kind. We explored their jewelry, books, Tarot, jewelry, calendars, apparel, incense, bath and beauty products, candles, oils, stones, crystals... We did finally leave as the store got crowded and rather warm, but I will definitely be returning!

I was able to go today! Yay! Haven’t been in months but it’s seem to be even beautiful then before. The environment is relaxing. I think I like going early morning vs the evening. It can get pretty busy in the evening. But this morning was so soft and easy flowing. I can definitely lose track of time just reading and looking at things. I saw this amazing bubble bee message that I will post below!

Every time I come to place I leave with a big ball and a smile. Staff is wonderful and I mean truly. They are so supportive with helping you with whatever you want to find. They are always adding something new to their store and online. I’ve grown my collection even more from the picture below. Please visit this place and enjoy.

This is not directed at mystic valley. But this is a feedback toward a teacher on Sunday. This was a great class to take I thought as far as learning on how to tap into your Intuitive/Psychic abillities. Its already a nerve wrecking class to begin with but the fact that i never stepped forward up until now to have the guts to take the class was amazing for me. The teacher that I had was learning us some great tools about letting go and just open up to what we are seeing and sensing. That is scary which I had mention in the beginning of class, the fact of its scary the fact that you might get it wrong. Which held me back from taking the classes sooner. Mind you this is my first class never done this before. we did readings on one another the first time which i felt ok about. but the second round was when everything changed. I remember the teacher telling me on the first reading we did to just let it flow what comes to you say as much as possible its best to be wrong than not say it. which scared me a little more because i don't want to say anything wrong , Right? Which is very contradictory of the Teacher to say because I said a certain word earlier to another student. I said Divorced instead of Death. Which the person husband died so it wasn't a divorce. But maybe it felt like a loss thats the reason I said divorce, the Teacher said. I remembered what was said. So we did another reading blindfoled. Im still remembering what the teacher said on the first reading. Nervous. I ended up saying a word that scared the other student which at the time Im just going by what i sense. So the student said now she's afraid of a word i used. She she said I will not let anyone in class leaving afraid of what someone else said and going on like I tried to hurt or scare someone on purpose. If she would have thought for a minute, Now how did I know this, this is my first class. Mind you say as much as possible remember. She said I heard of psychics saying something that they shouldn't have and I would have to go back and fix it it. Really smug B!.. Like I was suppose to know not to say this or that. From what she said say as much as possible. I wasn't trying to make another leave filling bad. Is she dense!? This Is The First Class! How the heck did I know coming in. This is her class not mine. Make things clear enough so people understand. She act like Ive been in the business for years doing Psychic work! Really! I was floored the things that I heard in the end of class. Which I would have understood had she said that from the get go on what not to say. I was not trying to do it on purpose. Which she should have watched some the things that she said to me in class. Because i left with my feelings hurt on how she went about it.. I cried and I don't cry easily.. I left filling alone and guilty on something I didn't know. That not how you want to treat someone. Because Ive always felt like an outsider and wanted to be apart of something and people like minded. But this turned out very negative and quick. I won't be back But Hopefully this helps the teacher to be mindful of all of her students next go round and how you speak to...

I've been shopping at Mystic Valley probably for about 20 years or more. I used to visit when they were in their old location. I was in yesterday and just as I predicted, I was practically yelled at and followed around the store by two salespersons/clerks. One yelled at me about something across the store, and I swear 5 minutes later another did the same including following me. Like really? This happened the last time I was in, last year as well. I don't know if they've had bad crime there or what, but Richmond Heights is not known for crime. I always go into MV with the list I have, to get the items I want. I usually buy gifts for family and friends, but I've decided I will no longer patronize this store. Even when I was checking out, the salesclerk was snarky about me wanting to hold my stones. The prices were there and if she wasn't clear on it, she could have also asked her fellow clerk for help. There was no need for her to touch them at the end of my sale. And I bought several other items as well. Anyone who works in a metaphysical store should know about this. I will not patronage this store any longer. They do not care about the community that has patronized them for years, and they do not have the consciousness needed to run this kind of store knowing that all kinds of people are coming in who could be seeking healing and energetic tools for self or others. They need to train workers better to understand that yelling across the store at customers, following them around in very narrow areas of the store, which even post- pandemic no one wants someone that close to them physically, and being snarky about a customer wanting to hold their stones while paying at the end is not how you treat people. I tried to be friendly, but the clerks were not pleasant at all and seem intent on being intimidating toward me as a paying customer. I think it's only right to give a review and inform others on how the vibe and customer service here has really gone down. I will go back to ordering from Etsy and other sellers who treat customers with respect and decency and will be sure to tell friends and family in St. Louis, not to buy or get readings from this place. The energy is very dark, chaotic, and angry. If the store continues this poor treatment of customers, they will likely close like many other retailers due to customers ordering online and going to other retailers that offer a pleasant and drama free...

I'm beginning Magick and this is a good store near where I live. The people there are helpful when you get their attention and will answer any question you have to the best of their ability, so I will give +1 star for customer service. They have a good selection of stones which is the main reason I go there, and also if you ask for a book they can help you get it. And if they don't have it than they may order it for you as well as other things such as insence, tarot cards, a few pendulums, candles, and also different magick tools (except Staffs and Swords, haven't seen the first one yet, and I don't think the second will ever be sold in this establishment) so I give it 2 more stars for variety. They also have a little cafe area where you can get a cool drink. If your caught out in the heat you could get something to drink here to cool off. Another star for variety and service The final star is because of something that if you took the time, you could experiance. I have made a couple of discoveries here and met some amazing people. The mood of the shop is more like a cafe with a store area than a store with a little cafe area. In conclusion, I love this place. For the people here as employees and customers. The selection is great and there is a way to get supplies here. a good place to go to meet some awesome people and learn some amazing things. I hope to...
