I was drawn to this store because of the high reviews, and because the website touted American made mattresses and sheets. I called the owner who answered the phone and was very, very kind. He told me that the mattresses that I was looking at on the website no longer had a warranty and that he had an import mattress which was just as good. I trusted the owner and went with his suggestion. The import mattress cost me as much as the American made one. I ended up calling back and told him that I wanted a mattress pad and he charged me $60 for it, and didn't charge shipping.

I ordered this on a Monday night and received the items on Thursday. The box with the mattress was beat up badly, but the mattress doesn't appear to be scathed at the moment. It doesn't appear to have reinforced corners which concerns me a little because that is where my last mattress failed, but again, I will trust the owner who seems to know his stuff. The mattress pad is not the one that the website lists for $60. This one is Chinese made.

I have no issues with the items sent to me other than they aren't the items that I was drawn to on the website. If I were a pessimist, it could be construed as a "bait and switch", but I'm an optimist and believe the owner and trust that I will have a good experience. I would suggest that the owner update his website to show the changes regarding the warranties on items, as well as country of origin. It would appear more "above board" and eliminate any question.

All in all, the owner seems like a really decent guy. I pray that if I have any problems with this mattress that he'll make it right. Regarding the mattress pad, my wife looked it up online and it goes for up to $80, so the price was right, even if it wasn't the one listed on the website.

It is important that I buy American, I cannot lie. It was my intention to buy American when I turned to this website, and was drawn to all the references to American made products, but I ended up spending money supporting the Chinese with this purchase. However, I am glad that I have purchased from a real person with a bricks and mortar store, so that helps my mind some. If this $300 mattress outlives the 9 years that my $200, no-name brand mattress lasted, and is more comfortable, then no-harm, no-foul! Only time will tell if that...

I recently purchased a hard side queen waterbed from this retailer. I arranged for it to be delivered (cost $20.00 although the website does say free delivery) but since I don't own a truck figured it was well worth that fee. Combination hardwood & particle board frame and a hardwood headboard along with 6 drawer base arrived next day. I've put together hardside waterbeds before and understand things need to measure correctly, be square, level etc. Began frame assembly and found that the side boards were warped and bowed which prevented completion of frame assembly. I promptly called the store and spoke with Bob, the owner, who apologized numerous times and said "he'd make things right". Being a pessimist I thought, "Oh no, here we go". Bob advised he didn't have any other frames in the color I'd purchase but he'd get one ASAP, I also advised that during delivery the crew forgot to bring the deck planking boards. Again a sincere apology and for the hassle this caused he would toss in a free set of waterbed sheets Five days later I had a brand new frame (unwarped) made of hardwood only, stained and finished, free sheet set & the missing deck planking! (Only negative was that I had to bring the defective products back and pick up the replacement pieces). Based on my experience I still recommend this business, the owner stands behind what he sells and makes sure his customers are satisfied!...

We purchased a King, soft sided from Bob 2 years ago and absolutely love it. Next we got a single soft sided for our daughter-she loves it. We were just over there today to get one for our son. This business is very reasonable, and the merchandise is high quality. Don't let the lack of new carpet and fancy store fixtures fool you--you will get the best deal for less price. I no longer wake up with sore joints, and miss our waterbed when we travel. This bed will last way longer than any other bed you can purchase, and you will sleep...
