Alo Jewelers — Local services in Marathon

I took a necklace into Alo that required a bigger bail (loop) added to it to fit on my chain. That was 14 days ago. 12 days ago I stopped back in to check on my jewelry because this piece is very important to me and on their signs it says 24 hour jewelry repair. The shop isn't open 24 hours so any logical person would think--24 hours to repair your jewelry. They informed me nothing has been done to it yet because she had to order the bails ground shipping and according to her, it could be awhile before she receives it. What kind of jewelry repair shop doesn't have a piece that is integral to make a necklace?! I went back in today, the 14th day, and all she had was excuses as to why it was not finished. She then handed it back and said just take it. I'm not going to do it. No call or anything. Alo might have kept my necklace for who knows how long if I hadn't stopped in. It looks like they have some nice pieces for sale there but I would not recommend taking in any jewelry...

This place it’s ridiculous I left a gold bracelet to be fixed on 16 of August.. they never called me or anything 2 months later I went to check on the bracelet they said that they send it to someone else to work on the bracelet 2 weeks later the bracelet was at the store (still nobody ever called me to let me know what’s happening…) I checked the bracelet and it was not fixed at all and they were asking for $70 for the repair (which it’s ridiculous)..so now it’s 10th of November they are never answering the phone every time when I’m going before work around 4pm the store it’s already closed .. I’be never got my bracelet.. I am going after them today I got a day off especially for this if they are not answering and they are closed I guess I have to call 911 if anyone have suggestions PLEASE text in...

My mother went to have her Movado watch battery replaced which they said would cost $12. That was fine. He took the watch in the back room and came back out and said "the stem cell off", which is how you set the time to the watch. He Broke the watch, did Not apologize, said he would have to send it out to the company to have it fixed, and still charged my elderly mother $12!! Do Not go here!
