I came into the store with a very unique problem, not with thier service whatsoever, but with my phone. Now this really wasn't 100% a problem with my phone, but with an internet app that I couldn't get working on my phone. The knowledge that the salesman, now internet Guru , displayed was incredible. His dedication to the task was admiral. He tried everything to get it to work... And you know all said and done... He was defeated. My phone just flat will not support this particular app. The dedication that he gave to try to get it to work, knowing full well that I was not buying anything, no commission coming his way, I truthfully was just a waste of his time.... Well that's customer service. I'm rather upset at myself that I didn't get his name, that man needs a raise. He is doing it right. And here's the rest of the review. Very clean well kept store. Lighting is excellent. Displays, nothing out of place to this consumers eye. And the shelves were full with anything and everything they offer. From phones to accessories they have it. It has been my experience here in the Keys that that is a rarity. As far a service up and down the Keys ( including Hawks Channel ) they have it. I was an At&T guy first trip down here 5 years ago and my girlfriend had Verizon. Well let's just say I ran her phone out of minutes. Since then I've had Verizon.    Read moreExtremely disappointing and unprofessional experience today at this location. To start off I arrived at the store at 10:30am walked in to two workers and the manager. No uniforms and the manager just walked out claiming he needed to go to the clinic. When he was gone, the employees began bad mouthing him in front of me. All I wanted was to get a new phone, should be simple enough I thought. I was there for 5 hours total. Went through the initial process of setting up the new phone just to find out they put the wrong phone number on. They linked my fatherâs number on my phone which shut down his ability to use his phone as well. That proceeded to a two hour long phone call with Verizon customer care on the phone. The employee at the store didnât help with that process at all. It was just me on the phone with customer service trying to fix a problem they made. The manager never came back and the employees couldnât do anything without calling someone else. Lack of training and management is evident at this location. I wasted my only off day to not even get the new phone so I wouldnât have to be there for 7 hours. I finally left the store at 4pm. Starving, tired, and empty handed.    Read moreThis store is an independent run store. When I was away my minor son went into the store and they allowed him to purchase a phone under my account. He did not have my authorization. The manager lied and said the girl that helped him did get my authorization. That was not true because I was in another country with no cell phone service. After talking to a Verizon representative 800 number. We found out they illegally sent a code to my minors sons phone sons cell phone to allow him to authorize, buy a phone and change my account. If it was not for the Verizon representative 800 number, I would have never gotten this issue resolved and everything credited. She caught them in lies and unethical behavior. They not only let my son purchase a phone. They charged over $500 in a buy out, activation fees and several other charges were incurred.
