Such a strange experience, which is why I’m leaving this review in hoping that it can deter anyone from going to this particular Metro PCS in Marathon. We walked in at about 2 pm, which is important to note, since the online hours say the store closes at 7pm. We were there to activate a phone we had bought because our phone had broken. We have a Metro PCS account and needed to charge the broken phone to receive the text the gentlemen was saying we needed to activate the phone we bought. He said that the charge would take 10 mins and when I said thank you, under his breath he goes “I was about to close, but ok I guess….” He seemed angry from the moment we entered the store, but I tried my best to ignore it because we desperately needed to activate my sons phone. Even when he was explaining what needed to be done to help us, he was so nasty, that I honestly thought it was a prank. I told him never mind, thank you, we will go somewhere else, he goes Bye. Do better with your employees in regard to customer service Metro, because this guy should be embarrassed of himself. It was an older Hispanic male, only one behind the counter. Bought a disfunctional phone and from where I'm an exexisting customer, no return or exchanges we're permitted, even though customer care stated it was ultimately allowed and up to the store.
Former big pine resident here and I wouldn't recommend ANYONE to this location. In my opinion, It's obvious that my devices aren't the only one that's had issues, with the reviews I've seen anyway. It's also, in my opinion, clearly evident that the owner could care less about the satisfaction of long term customers over their sales quotas.
Who's lieing about getting me a working device? Metro corporate call center or this store? I'd say the store.
Representative on Sunday was nice, that's about all I can say.

Read moreI've been to this Metro a handful of times, and I've gotta say the staff has actually been one of the best parts about my experiences despite the negative reviews I've seen. They've been friendly, informative, helpful, and easy-going. I leave smiling! I went in yesterday, and the associate Michael not only helped me with a new phone and some accessories, but helped me put my bike chain back on as it had fallen off a couple of blocks beforehand. No other customers were there so he fixed the issue right in front to keep an eye out for anybody coming in. Thankfully because of his help, I arrived to work on time. He saved the day!
