Cornerstone Builders of Southwest Florida — Local services in Marco Island

We had several estimates, and while it appeared Cornerstone was higher, you have to compare apples to apples. Their service included so much more than the other estimates, such as painting, and the purchase of fixtures, and even in some cases toilets. And everything we had to pick from, fixtures, tile, faucets, etc where of very high quality. We had Brad as our project manager, and if you have the luck to get Brad, you have no worries about your project. He looks at every speck and detail of every part of the project, and if everything is not absolutely perfect, he gets it fixed before we even knew anything was wrong. They don't have subcontractors, so there were workmen at the house every day unless we were waiting on a permit. Every one of their employees were exceptionally respectful, neat and professional, and we got to know them, Jim, Eli, Sammy, and of course Dylan our designer among others. All were wonderful. We had 2 bathrooms and a kitchen completely remodeled, and the project turned out absolutely gorgeous! The initial price they gave us was the price we paid, no overruns, and they actually finished a little early. If there was any negative, I would say I don't know how such an upstanding company as Cornerstone aligned itself with Good Deals. We ordered our appliances through them, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. When they came, the "free" installation was done on the microwave, but their surly installer told us he didn't have the parts for the dishwasher, and our electric wasn't good enough for the stove, so he couldn't install that (they never told us that ahead of time), but if we wanted to return it, there was a 30% restocking fee, and that they gave our refrigerator to another customer because they were ready for it, and we weren't ready for it. Nine months later, and I still don't have a refrigerator, nor a time estimate when it is coming or any updates from Good Deals. It's like they forgot us. Cornerstone ended up installing the dishwasher and stove, and by the way, didn't charge us for it. I can't say enough about the quality, employees and ease of working with Cornerstone. It made this big remodel very easy for us, and it's true, you get what you pay for. The only think I was sorry about was I didn't get...

We sing praises for the entire Cornerstone team that resurfaced our kitchen. We've had several remodeling jobs in our homes and without a doubt this was our best experience ever. From the beginning with our designer, Jennifer Franson, who followed through with everything and kept in touch throughout the project. Brad Archer, our project lead, was on sight the day demolition began, kept in touch with all the contractors, and he was the last one to be on sight as the job ended, making sure everything was done to the outstanding Cornerstone standard. Another thing that impressed me was the constant communication between everyone involved. I was never left wondering if there were going to be contractors on the job. There was a phone call in the afternoon telling me what to expect the next day. The quality of workmanship is second to none and everyone that came into our home was respectful, courteous and cleaned up at the end of the day. AND, the job was finished within the timeframe they had told us. We are truly WOWed by Cornerstone and will use them...

This is our second time working with Cornerstone. First time being kitchen remodel and this time 2 bathroom remodels. We knew we would not be able to be in Florida when the bathrooms were done but that wasn't a concern for us. We would be working with Jennifer, our previous designer and Brad, our previous project manager and we had complete confidence in them. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! They both kept in contact with us on a regular basis, sending pictures starting with the demo all the way till the end. When an unexpected situation occurred(as is always the case in remodeling) we were consulted immediately. Jennifer was dealing with some health issues during our project but she was often on the job sending me pictures and Brad was was extremely considerate of her and picked up any slack on the job...... which rarely happened. We were so pleased with all the contractors and have great respect for all the of them. They know they must do good work because they know they what Brad expects of them.
