Just got home from this restaurant with my family and all of us agreed we will never be coming back. First, service was not good at all. Danielle was our server and We had a party of 10. Immediately after being seated we asked how many ways we could split a check so that we could organize accordingly to make it easier for her. She said she didn’t know if we could split it bc it was busy. After, waiting about 15-20 mins to get our drinks she finally came back to ask for our appetizer. We asked if we can put our food in as well and she said she can’t and will come get it after she give us the appetizer and plates. Appetizers were brought out and my sister had ordered buffalo chicken dip. Immediately after trying it she noticed a weird taste and found it out was made with blue cheese which was not mentioned at all on the menu. My sister never complains about her food but doesn’t like blue cheese so she offered it to anyone else and was going to willingly pay for it however no one at the table like the dip so we brought it up to Danielle. She said she would bring it up to the manager and came back saying they could swap it out for another dip but couldn’t take it off and couldn’t discount it. The only other dip was spinach and since she didn’t like spinach either she asked again if nothing else can be done. Danielle came back with a very rude attitude, insisting nothing else can be done since it states on the menu that there is blue cheese in it. She said it very rudely twice and then stormed away and grabbed a menu and read it intensely for a couple minutes to realize it DOES NOT SAY IT ON THE MENU. Danielle comes back and says they can only take off 50% of the app and never apologized or anything. Someone else ordered ribs and ate one of them bc they we’re disgusting. My calamari was overcooked all flatbreads had burnt crusts. Honestly after a long day on a boat you would have better food and service at McDonalds down the street and you won’t have to pay an 18% gratuity to a server who doesn’t deserve it. At least they’ll make your food to the menu...
Read moreThe Marco Island Brewery is a sports bar. There are a lot of tables and booths inside as well as seating at the bar. There is also available seating at tables and the bar outside. No matter where you sit, you can see lots of TVs in all directions. They specialize in beer, but their alcoholic drinks and cocktails are very, very tasty. My favorite is the Pina Coloda. Their drinks are delicious but fairly expensive. My Pina Coloda was $16 and change. Though it was very yummy, I couldn't taste any rum. I will, however, get it again because it was awesome! My server was Brandon. He was terrific! He was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. He had several tables, but that didn't affect his service. Also, I was dining alone. Normally, I do not receive good service at other restaurants when I dine alone. I ordered the steak sandwich with onion rings. The steak was cooked to perfection!!! There was not any fat nor grissel, and I am extremely picky on that issue. The onion rings were hot and crispy on the outside but soft and perfect on the inside. They were full of flavor but not overly seasoned.
There are all kinds of food there... from ample different appetizers to salads, soups, chili, pasta, seafood, burgers, tacos, chicken, steak, AND even desserts!!!
You have to give the Marco Island Brewery a try! Enjoy your good eating...
Read moreWe have been coming here for dinners every year when we visit Marco for many years. We've always enjoyed the food, music, and friendly staff. But, it goes farther than that. This place is truly amazing. The staff isn't just friendly - they are truly, sincerely caring and supportive.
My 9yo daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes since we've been visiting here - diagnosed on Friday, February 2nd. We came last night for dinner - my husband and I both anxious to make sure we were giving her the proper dose of insulin for her meal. The staff here went above and beyond.
Chastity, our waitress, knelt down and got eye-to-eye with our daughter, comforting and reassuring her, and sharing her own personal experiences. Adam, another server, came to talk to her eye-to-eye as well. I can't say enough how amazing God is to put us in a place with such caring, supportive people. I can't say enough how grateful I am to these two individuals who went out of their way to befriend and comfort my scared little girl, making sure she (and we) were doing OK.
To the owners of Marco Island Brewery: these two individuals, Chastity and Adam, deserve special recognition. You have incredible employees in these two that I hope you are deeply honored and proud to have on staff. Thank you so much for hiring people like these. They truly blessed our evening and will be...
