Marco Ace Hardware — Local services in Marco Island

People ask me: how can you tell the difference between the two Ace Hardware stores on Marco Island. It's a great question. I went to both of them and while they have a lot in common they are also very different.

This one features people arguing in lawn chairs just outside the entrance, while the other one had three kids with fishing poles riding bikes in the parking lot.

They both had small appliance sections but this one had low shelves and the other one had shelves that went up to the ceiling.

Obviously you'll make up your own mind, have personal preference, etc. To me it's like waffles, everyone likes them but some prefer blueberries and whip cream while others slather them in tasty...

Very rude staff! I didn’t know the phone number associated with my rewards while presenting a coupon. The cashier told me “she had no way of knowing that I hadn’t stolen the coupon from someone’s mailbox. I was baffled, then insulted so I decided to return everything. While I was waiting for the return a sales associate proceeded to mock me for using a coupon. Rudest people on the island. Go elsewhere, the extra 15 minutes to Lowes is well...

OK, once I could see but AGAIN today I picked an item CLEARLY marked "$1.99" with SEVEN items in that same spot only to be charged $3.20 at the register. I explained to the guy that he was incorrect because it was marked $1.99 so we walked over to the spot & he said "these must be in the wrong spot" so on PRINCIPLE ALONE I asked for the $1.99 price & he just said "nope" & said it was $3.20. I will never shop here again and I would one you...
