I visited Marshalls on March 13, 2024, my experience was not great. I shop in this store multiple times a month, I make weekly visits to see new inventory. I have never encountered a problem at this location before. The reason for my visit was to purchase a pair of pants that was put on hold for 7 days due to the fact the pants were suppose to have a top with them. I was informed that inventory would be searched and if the top was not found, then I could purchase the pants. I received a phone call from one or your associates or Team Lead stating that I was able to purchase the pants. Once in the store I shopped around and of course picked up other items and headed to checkout. This is were your NOT SO FRIENDLY associate greeted me. I begin to tell her who I was and that I had some pants on hold. She grabs the pants and proceeds to ring up my items. My total came to $62....and some change, I told her that the total was incorrect due to the pants were supposed to be marked down. She begin to express that who ever told me the pants were going to be marked down, should have marked them down. She called for another cashier to come up and assist her since there was a line forming. Once this other cashier came up, the young lady checking me out begin telling the other cashier that whoever told me that the pants were going to be marked down should have marked them down themselves. The other cashier stated that they were supposed to be $13.00. This NOT SO FRIENDLY cashier stated that she was not going to keep doing someone else job. This cashier acted as if I was brothering her and interfering her day. Not that she is there to do a job. Once the transaction was over, I asked this not so friendly young lady what her name was...She said my NAME, I said yes your name and she gave me her name. This type of behavior is unexpectable and someone like this should not be the face of your organization. Since I was a problem and she didn't feel like doing someone else's job maybe she needs another position that doesn't require interaction...
