The Home Depot — Local services in Maricopa

8/15/25 - I was at Home Depot self check out this evening.

I think anyone, that are physically sick constant coughing, constant sneezing (or) may be feeling ill or sick stay home and stay away from other people until your feeling well and Not contagious !!

I was at self check out doing fine on my own about to scan merchandise in my basket. A very Courteous home depot associate with long black braids was 15 feet away from me and begin to walk toward me while I was at the self check out - the home depot associate offered to help me.

I thought to myself that's kind - ok. Thank you. She asked how I was I said fine thank you. I asked how she was she replied -

" I am under the weather" "there is something in the air".

OMG I am saying to myself and this home depot associate is this close to my face - 6 inches away from me and taking items out my basket offering to help me and talking to me.

I am thinking she just admitted to me she does Not feel well. This home depot associate person does Not have on a facial mask.

In general I am pretty healthy for a 64 year old. I take extreme precautions to social distance myself and I honestly do Not want people that close to my face especially if you are telling me you are not feeling well. I Do Not want anyone's germs. It is a Big Deal that is why I am...

Hi, I just gotta say that I’ve been to the Home Depot over here dealt with Ruben from hardware and I was looking for some Milwaukee drill set. And I was gonna get a higher one, but he thought it would be overkill for what I’m using so I appreciate him not trying to upsell me. But I ended up coming back today and upgrading because I thought about certain things that I can use it for and then I thought about the two batteries that it comes with that are stronger and I was dealing with Laura, Ruben wasn’t here But she knows her stuff also which is great because now I have to go to people to go to And it’s really great to find people that want to help you not just their for a job that they want to enjoy what they do And you don’t see that too much and I’m coming from Casa grande to come here so that’s a big thing It’s easy just to go to the one in town, but I’d rather go the extra distance to get the help that I need. So definitely thumbs up for both. Thank you again.👍🏼👍🏼 Also, when I returned the items, a guy named Mike was helping me out and he was real good and he was patient and he also told me who to see today because Ruben wasn’t here. He told me Laura would know her thing also so I appreciate him...

After 3 trips here (different spans) customer service is HORRIBLE. 1st trip I went in looking for light bulbs and fixtures. Not greeted once but also couldn’t find an employee around. Finally I approach a group of 3 employees just chatting amongst each other. 2nd trip was similar, I was in garden section whole time struggling to find product with no employees in the area. Again, had to walk around main entrance to find one. 3rd time I get a call saying my quote was ready to pay, I go into store and employee is confused and says go to flooring someone is back there. I go to flooring and find no one. I head back to employee at customer service and let her know no one was back there. She says there should be and I say well there is t. She then makes a call and tells me to go back. I go back and still no one there, I start walking around the store shouting out for help. Employeee started helping me but couldn’t bc she wasn’t a specialist 🤦🏽‍♂️ So she than calls around for a specialist. Man I honestly hate coming to this store but have no choice. I hope new Lowe’s provides better...
